I don't know. I don't think I could ever enjoy the Jazz, Malone and Stockton just ruined that team for me. It'll take a long time...

Maybe Flopton will be on a bridge, somebody will tap him on the shoulder to ask the time, he'll immediately go to the famed flop and he'll fall off.

I hope Walls comes in here. He's my new favorite poster to respond to.

Here Walls.....HHHHeeere Walls! Wallsy Wallsy Walllllll-zzzzzzzeee!

Karl Malone --- I don't like him that much. 6'10 big muscle guy with skills... so?

John Stockton --- I love him to DEATH. To DEALTH! 6'1 guy who's not athletic, but is composed of nothing but pure heart and intelligence. Not flamboyant, not flashy, not attractive. But he is what team basketball is all about.

Yao made me a Rocket fan. Stockton made me a Jazz fan, both for life.

As much as I hate him for draining 'the 3', one question comes to mind.

If the Malone/Stockton bashers had lived in Salt Lake City or Utah, would y'all hate them for flopping or cheating?

Are you kidding??
We'd be calling for a parade down Main Street, a speech from the Mayor, the Key to the City, an annuity, immediate induction into the Hall, a meeting with the President... etc., etc.... and making every excuse possible for the lack of a ring.

But they didn't, they don't, and at least I don't have to lose sleep over the notion.
;)

hehe exactly my point. it's just what's the point of HATING a guy after he retires? it's like c'mon the damage was already done. he's retired. lets move on and stop bashing the guy.

One of the best ever. He will be sorely missed, whether you love him or love to hate him.

Yeah, I wish he played for the Rockets in 94 and 95, when the guys who play the RIGHT way were winning championships.
