I had friends the same age that watched it but I could never really get into it. The giant monster puppets just threw me off. It could be interesting. I am guessing that some people feel about this how I felt about Ninja Turtles growing up.
I got the perfect story line. They could make it more gritty. They could show how the original rangers turned out to be a bunch of losers who are fat on drugs etc. Then somehow Rita or Zed comes back and they got to get back and over come their demons etc. It could be rocky + watchmen + power ranger's cheese combined.
