Like I heard on the AM Houston radio this morning, if we can somehow get Utah to give us New York's #1 in a T-Mac trade, I would do it for a chance a J. Wall!!
If you're hoping you aren't going to be bashed you are sadly mistaken. At best, your post indicates your IQ level is extremely low. And that's as high as it will ever be.
Actually, I think the fact that these players have to work so hard to get a 58% winning record tells you that they cannot last very long in the playoffs. EVERYONE plays hard in the playoffs. To paraphrase what I said in another thread, if you have to play hard and execute perfectly to win, with very small margin of error, then you are most likely not talented enough to win it all. You just can't sustain such hard work and perfect execution for the length of a championship run. Look at our last playoffs series against the Lakers. We sneaked up on them a few times. But when they realized what was going on and turned up the intensity a notch, we were no match.
It took the Lakers until game 7 to realize that? We hammered them in game 6. Don't you think that they had an idea that we played hard after the first two Rocket wins?
We have no idea what his play making ability is post surgery. He isn't even in basketball shape yet. Limited minutes every game was probably the best way to reinsert him into the lineup considering his propensity for getting injured. We really have NO idea what he is capable of right now, and until I have seen otherwise, he ISN'T the best player on the team at this point in time. He has the POTENTIAL to be the best player on the team, but that doesn't mean he is. Plus, correct me if I am wrong, it's no secret that Adelman was going to limit his playing time until after the first of the year right? Why all of the sudden did T-Mac get upset about that? He knew this all along, nothing has changed except for T-Mac's attitude about his coaches plan. He put himself before his team and his coach, just like he did last year.... sorry, he still isn't a team player.
I agree with that 100%. I was very excited to see him return, I was even more excited when he turned in the 10pt performance, and then the mirage disappeared and I saw Me-Mac again. He used to be a top level talent, but what the Rockets have now is a team, and he clearly isn't putting the team first. If coach says "you will play limited minutes, 7-8 per game until after the first of the year" well then, play limited minutes like he asks for that time. It was only a few weeks after all. He couldn't even wait a half dozen more games though. Sorry, be gone T-Mac, he is the ONLY one causing this sort of drama on the team, I would rather see him do that somewhere else to be honest.
The Lakers thought (knew) they could turn it up and trounce us. You can tell in the first Rockets wins, their defense was not very intense. The rotation was lazy. Game 6 was a great game played by us. (IIRC that was when Phil Jackson said the famous "give them the **** credit" line.) That was my point. You can play a perfect game here and there. But it is awfully hard to sustain that kind of perfection through a series, let alone a title run.
Knicks look like they're headed to the playoffs... I'd take a chance with Indiana's pick. See my sig...
When T-Mac's tomato went rotten, it was time to sit him down on his buns and cut the lettuce. Alas, his secret sauce was exposed and his constant onions made us cry. In the end he played like Patty and therein lies our beef.
Yeah that's why I started the other thread I guess we could merge them if we want. I don't know if it's the rallying cry so much as it feels like more of a distraction now that they know something is going to change.. where as before they knew.. "okay this is what we got, let's use it"
Yep, until it is resolved, whatever IT is...they will all be a little worried, especially the young ones... DD
anbody see any players "tanking it" to avoid getting traded? it might scare off other teams if they see a player play bad. Ariza for one has been horrible lately . Same with shane. Same with landry. just saying
We make different points. I think they wanted to prove to the league, fans and Mac that they didn't need him to win. A now that he has been removed from the equation a layer of motivation went with him.
LOL, dude AI is not Tracy, and Denver is not Houston. Botton line, there is no way that Tracy would have damaged chemistry on this team. Its not like the chemistry is all that great to begin with. Everyone knows that all those comments from Rick about Tracy damaging chemistry was a bunch of bull. The team simply was fed up with Tracy becasue of his actions off the court so they did what they wanted to do and thats fine, they can make whatever decision they want. But come on dude, when our best shooting guard on the team is Chase Budinger and we are relying on our PG to win games, who can open up their mouth to say that Tracy could hurt this team. Im sorry but it just doesnt make sense. I would rather the team say you know what, Tracy just burned his bridges here in Houston and his time has run its course.
