They'll just call everything close and not allow us to play playoff basketball. I guess it'll be fun watching joey dance the macarena as he signals an offensive foul on our guys. < insert rolling eyes, like 7 of them.

In other words, the officials rewarded a team for the most brazen form of cheating.

"I thought that was a disgrace,'' said Celtics All-Star guard Ray Allen. "I've never experienced anything like that since I've been in the NBA. To lose two points like that, it is a disgrace.''

The Blazers obviously were not trying to cheat anybody. Afterward they were embarrassed to have left a sixth man on the floor.

Inbounding from a timeout with 10.1 seconds remaining in the first half, they moved the ball around so deftly that the Celtics couldn't cover all of them. (For good reason.) With 3.0 seconds to go, Greg Oden passed to Travis Outlaw cutting to the basket for a layup. Boston forward Kevin Garnett immediately turned to a referee and pointed out the six Blazers, none of whom tried to escape. They remained on the court for all to count while referees Mike Callahan, Rodney Mott and Zach Zarba discussed what should be done

it's gonna be lakers and kings 2002 game 6 all over again...my god..couldn't make it more obvious, i'm really starting to hate the NBA because of this, what is even the point of watching games if they are decided by the refs instead of the teams...**** you David Stern, you and your dream match up and can go to hell, this is complete bull****.

Joey Crawford......is an overzealous whistle blowing ref......

This is just one more mountain for the Rocket's to climb..

I would say it lowers our chances of winning a good 10%......

The Lakers are 10-1 the last 2 years in the playoffs with him as the ref...and like 7-10 or something without him......so friggen telling.

    D&D, but...

We have a black president and a largely black NBA. I don't really think this is racism. It's marketing-ism.

Joey Crawford is a joke of a ref.

He should have been relieved of his duties permanently after the Duncan episode.

Right? When objectivity is a CRUCIAL component of your job...and you do something like he did with Duncan...how in the world do you keep your job? I'll never understand that. Particularly since the perception among the sports fans is that something is fishy with NBA officiating....to eliminate even the appearance of that kind of crap, you fire a guy immediately after an incident like that.

I was referring to the white-collar crime by white-coloured people who own the NBA which is allowed.

By the way, I read somewhere that it's no allowed or unusual for a ref to officiate a game twice in the same series. Is this true ?

Some reporter should really start to challenge the NBA with some numbers and do some detective work because this needs to be challenged. Guess nobody from ESPN, TNT or whoever will do it though, they simply do not want to challenge any1 because they will get fired. It's all about the money, so much for the "I will tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help me God."

Stern aka Vince McMahon is a sniveling greedy little prick. At least Vince McMahon's sport doesn't even have the pretension of being fair.

If there is a God, Kobe will go 5-30 today.
