Thanks for the warm reception! My computer's fate was a result of complete idiocy on my part. Last year I had to move from Pasadena Texas to Clear Lake. The day I packed the things in my room was exceptionally beautiful so I decided to open my window to take it all in. Hours passed and I eventually forgot that the window was open. Said window was directly behind my old computer desk. I had set the computer on its end(it wasn't a tower model) to clean the bingy area beneath it, and you can imagine the rest... Needless to say, my mom was pissed. I had been b****ing the whole week about how I didn't want to move and she thought that I did it on purpose. The withdrawals were horrible, especially during the entire Olajuwon-Toronto ordeal. But I eventually learned to live without it... DREAMer- I wasn't completely without the services of a computer, I just go to school or the library when I need one. But isn't it amazing how for so long we survived without computers, but now we can't even imagine how much life would suck without them? DoD- Unfortunately I can't be a chat regular again. My only days off are on Mondays and Wednesdays. I'll try my hardest to show up though. Again, thanks for the welcome guys! I really missed y'all!
Welcome back Anti!! 'member me? hehe... man, you missed some great stuff while you were gone... one was this thread and the other was the "did mcmark perish in the WTC disaster?" thread and it's subsequent follow up threads. that has been the only thread to bring me to tears. what an outpouring of love for this unknown BBS poster... we thought he was a goner, but he was just on vacation. (sigh) anywho... welcome back rH
Welcome back, Anti! You did miss a lot while you were gone. First of all, Kagy finally came out. We've all agreed not to talk about it. Also, keeley was arrested as part of the antiterrorism sweep. He is able to transmit posts occasionally through his lawyer. Jeff's political consulting career is going so well that he's finally made good on his lifelong ambition to open a steak house. Crispee is the new name of the poster formerly known as heypartner. He lost his name in an offseason bet that Dan Langhi would be the starting 3 on this year's team. (OK, I know that one is a little hard to believe.) And I've gone to work at the White House as a special assistant to President Bush for domestic policy. You really should take another look at his tax cut. It will create jobs and help working families at a time when they need it most. Meanwhile, in Seattle, the Sonics still suck.
