How about this, Tim- I'm making a 9-hour drive to Houston, albeit to see family, from Lubbock- yet I managed to buy 3 $40 tickets to the Rockets/Sonics game on the 29th. How's that for devotion? Does that get me at least 1 free drink? Just kidding- it'll be worth it.

Thank you for your offer. I better stay home and learn how to spell basis. I should read what I type before I post it. I'll watch that game on TV. But, the Detroit, Charlotte and LA games are signs that Steve is really trying. I'll be back soon enough and I will look forward to meeting you. The real teams will start separating themselves from the pretenders soon. That's always fun to watch. Especially in person!

    A-freaking-men.

I mean good lord, what the hell is the point of being a fan when you propose crap like this? We're supposed to support our team, yet you're suggesting, no, DON'T shop up at home. DON'T try to help our team get wins by coming to games, more specifically home games where the team is currently 9-2. And for what reason? Because you don't like the team and you want people traded.

I mean really, for what reason are you a fan? What are you rooting for? The logo? The name "Rockets"??? Is that all?

Tell you what, why don't you just pretend that the Lakers and the Rockets switched names and locations, that should make things much easier for you as a fan.

After 9 years of being an increasingly hardcore Rockets fan, I'm finally going to my first Rockets game EVER in Houston this Tuesday (visiting my sister who got a job over there).

I don't know my seats yet, but I'd love to take you up on that! :D

But I'm pretty sure it'll fall through, hehe.
