We were in the seats towards the back and in the middle close to the soundboard, so I didn't get any mud. I did see lots of muddy asses on the way out...at least I HOPE that was mud. :D

I really wish someone would implode the CWMP so we can get back to going to shows at The Summit or the new arena like it should be. I just don't like going to shows there.

really? i like it...but my wife asked last night if there would be DMB shows in the new arena starting next year..i don't know, but i'd love to see them in that kind of atmosphere. so i sure hope they do.

as soon as the show ended i looked at my wife and said, "wow...can't wait till next year!" :)

I said the same and then asked, "can I get a little?"...MadMax, not your wife, mine.

The food sucks and it's all WAAAAY over priced. My company has season tickets to all shows at the Woodlands, and I've used my VIP pass twice to eat in there. $15 for 1 hamburger and a beer is ridiculous.

It is a good place to get away from the heat during all day concerts like the Buzzfest, though. They show the performances on the TVs throughout the bar area, and there are zero mosquitos. :)

wow..that's disappointing! it sure smelled good! :) we stopped and ate Arby's in Humble! :D but i'm not real interested in paying $15 for a burger and a beer. thanks for the heads-up.

    Actually it's only $6.50 for a 16 oz. fifty-fifty beer.

fifty percent beer/fifty percent water. I took two beers back and they game me the same crap, but with a little more of a head. I did come up with an ingenius idea though...drink it, pee in your cup and then take it back for a new beer. They know it sucks and are glad to give you a new fifty-fifty beer if you're unhappy with your old one.

i bought a $6.50 beer last night....but i didn't buy the hamburger that would have brought my total to $15, as LonghornFan mentioned.

Sorry MadMax, wasn't arguing with the price of a beer, was agreeing with the fact that the prices are ridiculous and the product not that great. I then went to Miller light cans...definitely the way to go.

Isn't that ridiculous though, $15 for a beer and a burger!

it absolutely is!! $6.50 for one beer is ridiculous. but the captive market certainly bears it!

absolutely! I wasn't complaining about the price until after I ran out of cash! :D

I just can't wait to drink a $9 Yang Jing at the new arena.

Y'all can do what Rocketman95, my wife, our guest and myself did last night...down a number of beverages in the parking lot before going in. After that, I just bought one drink apiece for the girls, and a bottle of water for myself. Saves a lot of money that way.

Now that's the ticket! And the other benefit to that plan, is you may have been lucky enough to miss the opening act, had you drank enough and taken your time between beverages.

Yep, they were 7.50 if I rembember right. I don't trust those taps they have so it's better when you can watch them empty the tall boy into your cup.

Or you could do what we did which was to stop at the Chevron on the feeder before the exit and load up on the cheap stuff. Then park at the mall and start drinking while watching tremendous amounts of hotties walk by. If you're single that is. :D Then just buy one of the tall boys when you get inside and presto...you're set for the show. Less than $10 on beer.

    EDIT: Didn't see Behads post.

Pathetic. Why do you need alcohol to have a good time? ;)

If it hadn't have been for the So Much to Say segue into PNP/Rapunzel followed by a 20 minute Two Step encore, I would've been greatly disappointed in last night's show.

I have my various "pee songs", really only about eight or nine. Four of them were played last night. I hate the new version of Grey Street where they've completely taken out an entire verse. However, like I said, it was made up for by the amazing ending (sans Digging a Ditch).

I actually prefer the Kit Kat Jam with words...I had gotten used to it on The Lillywhite Sessions.

There's nothing better than being so disappointed that the shows over, then remembering that I've got three more shows to see in the next two weeks!!

i can't believe i forgot this! i was like, "wait a second...what just happened? where'd the last verse go???" i was going to ask you about it, but completely forgot about it this morning...i assumed it was just a mistake...but...i guess not!

good seeing you last night! have a great time this weekend at the other shows!

I work in The Woodlands right across the lake from The Pavillion--we always get a free show when they do the sound checks...

Yeah, I actually had a "pee" song and a couple of "sit down and rest songs". My pee song was Cry Freedom (just doesn't do anything for me) and my sit down songs were everything from Everyday.

From Crush until the end of the show more than made up for it though.
