dude just watched the new episode, it was AMAZING.

"Now what say you and I go toe to toe on bird law and see who comes out the victor?"

That lawyer was awesome as well.

Brian Unger played the lawyer; he was great on the early years of The Daily Show. He used to be the guest host on Countdown on MSNBC, but for some reason could never read off the teleprompter well.

He's good at playing the straight man, as in this interview with "Seth" Galifianakis. The line beginning, "It's always..." gets me every time (about eight minutes in):

If classic means "stupid", then I agree. This show tries way too hard since the first two seasons. I still laugh at it, but not sure why.

Well people are calling it witty and the funniest show on TV and comparing it to Arrested Dev. That's ridiculous. People are mistaking random for witty. It's not really witty at all right now. I laugh way more at Curb, Parks/Rec, The Office than I do at Sunny, so funniest on the air, I'm just not buying. Instead of laughter it usually garners a "wtf did they just do" from me. I still like the show, but most of it is just far-fetched and random. I guess that's intentional, but I don't find that "witty" I guess. Let me make it clear that I still like and watch the show. It's definitely unique, I'll say that. Sorry to crap on the thread, just giving my opinion.

I thought the first episode was good but not great by comparison. I thought season 3 sagged a little, but season 4 was as good as any of the seasons.

The show was still hilarious, but ranked about in the middle of quality as compared to their other shows.

I don't think Kaitlin Olson is on coke, but she might have an eating disorder.

ill give you that the office may be the smarter show, but sunny invariably has more laugh out loud moments per episode for me. sunny has some of the most outrageous dialog ive ever heard. it may not be witty, but i find hilarity in it's chaos. meanwhile, parks/rec is just flat out unfunny.

it is absolutely a different show from arrested development; its humor isn't layered like arrest development was, and the jokes aren't similar at all. but for whatever reason, sunny and arrested development are the only 2 shows that i can watch over and over again and consistently laugh. when i rewatch office episodes they bring a smile to my face, but i rarely laugh out loud a second time. that may be why people often compare the two shows, or recommend sunny to people who also enjoy arr. dev.

I just started watching the show a few days ago after reading the rave reviews in this thread. I've started with season 2 cause that is what's on hulu and I have to say I love it. IDK what order I would rank them but definitely among the 4 best comedies on tv right now along with Curb, the Office, and Parks

I thought it was witty at the start with the meta joke about how they could combine Dee's and Frank's ideas aka the A story and the B story.
