The Office is a great show but this show makes me laugh so much more. How the heck do they come up with this stuff? The whole night ritual with cat food was genius. Then Frank comes in and does it like its nothing.
You gotta pay the troll toll... did anyone else see the season finale? I thought it was very well done...
if you like dry humor, check out a british show called "father ted". it takes a show or two to get use to, but it's funny as heck.
It was IMO one of their best shows to date.. I loved the Dennis and Mac rape scene.. "Dude, do you have boner right now?"
Aww man, I didn't know it was the season finale. This show is easily the funniest on TV. Another one of those great shows that nobody watches.
I agree, it was the best show of this season...so many great lines...I didn't know it was the season finale... This season, overall IMHO, wasn't as good as previous ones, but was still pretty good...You have to just like that kind of humor...
i just saw this on fancast... it's freak'n funny as hell, easily the best episode so far. i was laughing all the way through.
Ok, I recently bought seasons one and two because it was 15 bucks at Target. I thought season one was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. I actually though Danny DeVito coming in season two didn't help the show at all and might have hurt it. It seems like they were running out of ideas in season two. They had already tackled every taboo subject. I have not seen season three, but have watched a few episodes of season four like the American Revolution one and the Extreme makeover and I think it is safe to say they are running out of ideas. The abortion episode in season one almost made me crap my pants: "I want to show you something. It's a list of all the doctors I am going to kill." "There's already two crossed off!" "I know." *Cuts to back seat banging* I think the show tries too hard at times to do stuff that is off the wall like in the first couple of seasons. I think if they are going to keep it fresh, they need to calm it down a lot and focus on what makes the show great: the dialogue. There are not a lot of shows with such great back and forth banter between the stars. Does anyone else feel this way? Like they go on too many zany adventures now that aren't even taboo? Extreme Home Makeover? Revolution?
I thought season 4 was better than season 3. I think the show has stronger episodes and weaker ones, but even the weaker ones are better than almost anything else on TV. The weak points are when they get too far off into crazy land. The characters are already crazy enough, but there is always some kind of rationale why they do the things they do. Sometimes though they'll do something crazy and it just isn't grounded enough. I actually love Danny DeVito in the series. I think certain episodes he shines more than others. In season 4 he was absolutely great in almost everything he did. To me Extreme Home Makeover was the funniest episode in the season, mainly because of the way they filmed the bust in scene. I could not stop laughing. Also the construction worker/village people outfit Dennis wore was great. DeVito in the season finale was comic gold. I also love Artemis almost every time she's on the screen. The Sex in the City spoof stuff with Artemis was great, as was the poop mystery episode. In the finale Artemis wasn't used enough.
