I watched the theater re-release of the 1st Star Wars many moons ago. I consider myself a big Star Wars fan. Movie ended, heard a girl say out loud "That was STUPID!" I knew the franchise was over then...yeah she got dragged in by her boyfriend but deep down I myself couldnt justify anyone outside a hardcore putting interest in it. It wasnt quite the Tracy McGrady missed dunk, that was Phantom Menace. But it was the McGrady letting Jamario Moon dunk moment. I've seen 30 minutes of Harry Potter, with a scene where they're playing a game on flying brooms. It was actually pretty good. But I didnt feel like watching the previous 9 movies to catch up. Gonna see Transformers 2, pretty much it.
I think I'm the only one who actually likes all 6 Star Wars movies. Hell, I even TiVo'ed The Clone Wars on the Cartoon Network...
I think I sorta dozed off on one of the Harry Potter movies when it was on TV once. Sadly, I lined Lucas's pockets by going to the prequel trilogies.
I am awaiting what May 1? Wolverine personally...and yes I'm a big Potter fan now only because watching the first movie with the little ones and getting hooked... Don't you hate seeing movies because of the kids or younger relatives and getting hooked into it?
That's what sh... ! Never mind. Kids' movie. I mean, me too. Transformers 2 and ICE AGE... what... isn't it the 16th Ice Age sequel?
My goal every summer is to watch every movie that has even the slightest bit of hype. This should be a good blockbuster season.
wolverine star trek terminator harry potter transformers 2 inglorius basterds gi joe angels and demons (i loved the book much more than da vinci code) night at the museum 2 (not going to rush out to see this one, but the first movie surprised me it was pretty good will maybe see this on a slower weekend or wait till video) UP that is about it but that is still a large list of movies, there are a few others that I wouldnt mind seeing and probably will go see. I think i'll do what I did last summer and just go on monday afternoon to most of these movies after opening weekend to still see it early and beat a lot of the crowds. the days of midnight showings aren't just worth it anymore, unless is a special screening or something. i rather just take a long lunch at work and go see the movie and then come back to work.
