It's not a guaranteed loss. Just guaranteed insanity levels of frustration as Scott Foster makes a critical call in the last two minutes from 80 feet away.
How is this not an answer? "Same way he didn't ref any of our first 6 games. That's the way random distributions work. If you actually care about facts, you can look up ref data on each game - you'll find other refs in the same scenario."
It doesn't matter, did you watch the Clippers Nuggets game? Referees tried hard to get Clippers back into it and they did, but couldn't be too obvious so the 4th they had to back down. If we take care of business, it shouldn't come down to a call or two. I expected a fierce Lakers team with AD and or Lebron going off anyway so might as well get it out the way now. Then he won't be back until game 6 / 7.
that's not an answer. i asked for an example and he did not show one, so he didn't answer the question. there were 70 refs in the bubble. There is nothing random about 1 ref (who has a questionable past with 1 team) officiating 2 of their last 3 playoff games, especially at the timing of those 2 games.
Here is an example since you won't look yourself. Capers did the Nuggets games on 09/01 and 09/05. That's 2 out of 3
If Foster reffing this game was random, then every person on this board should go buy lottery tickets, because after we humiliated the Lakers and the NBA in game 1, we all knew Foster was coming for game 2.
Jesus, can they be any more obvious? The fact that he is still employed is absolute proof that that the conspiracy does indeed exist.
Harden, Tucker, and Covington already have two fouls They're going to have to shoot 45% from three to win and win the turnover battle by 10+
Foster called the last two regular season Rox-Lakers games too (both Rockets wins, too), albeit, he wasn't the lead referee in either: 2/6/2020: Rockets 121 - Lakers 111 (Rox +2 in FTA) 8/6/2020: Rockets 113 - Lakers 97 (LAL +13 in FTA - without LeBron!) Let's hope the Rox shooters are hitting from long range and the score isn't close enough to where the whistles come into play. I can easily see Beard/EG/Tucker getting a couple of early fouls and needing to sit for long periods in the first half. Rivers/Ben/House/Green will probably need to provide a big spark to keep the game close until the second half.
