Also - the "four months" claim is slightly misleading - it was spaced out over four months, but the actual exposure was ~11 days.

That picture is known as the Hubble Ultra Deep Field. I love it. Wish I had a poster of it for my wall.

How closely did you look at that photo? From what I see, it does say that VY Canis Majoris is the largest known star.

I call dibs on V509 Cassiopeiae.

It's just so weird and random that it actually makes me laugh.

10th one down on the left labels VV Cephai largest. Meh. Just me being a nitpicking douche. And only because for whatever odd reason, I remember the factoid about Canis Majoris.

    EDIT
It took me a while but I found the STARTING point of that YouTube video: starts off at BOLLING AFB, Duncan and Angell, in Washington DC. [I'm so proud of myself! :)]

:D LOL... I really thought URANUS was really really small. :(

    But it's not.

Someone has a pipe through their head. It was Gilly.

The principal's head is on a platter. It was Gilly.

The nerd's science project is messed up. It was Gilly.

Maybe it's because it's one of those SNL skits that just goes on waaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy too long.

I promise, that's the last time I talk about it. Sorry, OP

[derail]I have never hated a skit more in the history of SNL. Does anyone find it funny at all? [/derail]

Any bets that this actress had one hella disturbed childhood?

    Wow! ! ! !

On a side note....one night after sitting out on the patio and looking at the stars with my wife, we came back into the house and turned on the television and UFO Hunters came on (coincidence, I think not  )

I proceed to say how obsurd it is that people think that we are the only intelligent beings in the entire galaxy. My wife (who is pretty religious) proceeds to mention the Big Guy and how people who believe in Aliens are nuts.....I say why Dear, you do know that the Big Guy created the universe and everything in it right......needless to say, she gave me "that" look, walked out of the room and continues to this day to change the channel when UFO Hunters is on
