The "incomplete" BCS already has UT as #3 behind VT. http://www.tellshowbcs.com/ Peterson needs to play and we need to crush OU by 50 to keep up with VT.
ESPN gameplan is unavailable in my area so I'll watch it at a sports bar. Go for Peterson's ankles and blitz the hell out of Bomar.
I think the game is going to be nationally televised on ABC so you should be able to watch it anywhere.
It's not national. A large part of the country will see it, but Big 10 country will see Minn/Michigan and ACC country will see VA/BC.
Leaving Austin at 1PM. My seats are in Section 27, row 6. I'll be the one in burnt orange in the sea of crimson. BEAT OU!
historically, when a team is ranked number 2 going into this game: Incidentally, in each of Texas' three title seasons, it was No. 2 in the polls when it came into this game. The Longhorns are No. 2 and favored by 13 ½ points. • Oct. 12, 1963: No. 2 Texas 28, No. 1 Oklahoma 7. Texas won title. • Oct. 11, 1969: No. 2 Texas 27, No. 8 Oklahoma 17. Texas won title. • Oct. 10, 1970: No. 2 Texas 41, Oklahoma 9. Texas won title. • Oct. 12, 1974: No. 2 Oklahoma 16, No. 17 Texas 13. Oklahoma won title. • Oct. 11, 1975: No. 2 Oklahoma 24, No. 5 Texas 17. Oklahoma won title. • Oct. 12, 1985: No. 2 Oklahoma 14, No. 17 Texas 7. Oklahoma won title.
Just listened to it. Another winner, Chance. And, yes, it did bring to mind BHG. Never a bad thing. Kudos.
Yay! For once, I'm actually an official Longhorn with a vested interest in the game. Sure beats the hell out of rooting for the Cornell "we suck at everything but hockey" Big Red... HOOK 'EM HORNS
