i don't that's a big deal. for me, i wish they had a camera. I have sprint and my data plan is way cheaper than if i got at&t plus iphone.
another bump. i had started another thread and was told there's an update coming in the summer. would it be better to just wait for that?
There's probably going to be a new one sometime around July to September, but there are new ones released every year. If it does what you need it to do, just get it. If you're waiting for some new feature, then wait. If you need one now, then get one now.
A guy at work said that iphone wasn't that great for quality of pictures. Has anyone had a problem with their iphone/itouch pics?
This update, unlike the last one, might be a substantial hardware change. So it's a little harder to say. If you can wait, I probably would.
If he is talking about the pictures taken with the camera feature, the iPod Touch does not have a camera. If he is talking about displaying JPGs, they display just fine on my Touch.
The camera on the 3G iPhone is not up-to-par with its competition. It takes decent pics for what it is, but it doesn't have functionality like zoom nor, less important to me, video. The resolution isn't as high as current competitors, either.
after doing some quick googling, people seem to suspect that the latest might include bluetooth capabilities, some type of advanced motion sensors, and possibly a camera. the last one seems to be wishful thinking more than anything. i'll hold off for a few more months since it seems like there could be some substantial additions.
