It will be tragic if Harden retires without a ring.

I don’t care if he wins one in Houston or anywhere else. One of the best ever. He deserves a ring.

 

You could say Lebron's Heat denied Westbrook and him an earlier ring. And KD might not have gone to the Bay that early.

'Denied' would suggest that they deserved to win, an argument that is not justified imo. Each of Durant, Harden and Westbrook were less than half the players they have become today, while the Miami trio were more experienced and in their prime.

I think the fortunate/unfortunate event was Harden being traded. I have always felt that if Westbrook and been the one traded for quality complimentary pieces, Harden+Durant would have dominated the west and won it all a few seasons after

 

Yup, the tone of the original post was he regretted that the Warriors exist. So I made the same statement about that Heat team.

Any team is allowed to exist if they have a good owner, a good cast of players and a sound management.

Heck, there are fans out there who wished this version of Harden did not exist.

But everything is marvellous. It's the right balance in the Multiverse.

A strong opponent makes you want to get better, get obssessed and beat them.

I'm all about the team. Players come and go, yet I agree with most of you that it would be some injustice in the BB world if Harden end up ringless. Not cool at all.

This is the year guys. No way Harden is putting up monstrous numbers and pretty much carrying the franchise on his shoulders without earning a championship. That has to be a meaning to all of this.

The boys are gonna do it despite the Worriers and the refs.
