i apologize for offending you, you whitebred, cracker honkey. i was trying to make a point about how politically correctness has gotten WAY out of hand. i dont think that the original post comparing wallace to a chimp was racist at all and i think that some people are way too sensitive about it. in that particular pic, rasheed did look like a chimp. if his regular team pic was posted up next to a chimp than i could understand, but yall p.c.ers took it way out of context. when rasheed goes into one of his frequent "freakouts", he does resemble an out of controll, poo-flinging monkey. that is why i would never want him on my team. he is a great player, but he is a disease who would ruin the good chemistry that our team is developing. i wouldnt even trade jason collier for him! peace,
Drapg's comment was in the context of of the discussion, which wasn't racist, IMO. At least his intent wasn't. But, YOUR comment's only purpose was to incite inflammatory reactions. There's a difference. Let sleeping dogs lie!
1) Dont apologize to me, because im the least of who you probably offended with your "joke". 2) Calling me names isnt going to get under my skin and is only digging yourself a deeper hole. Keep up the good work.
exactly, arrf! instead of talking about trading for rasheed (we dont need more p.f.'s) how about a s.g. if the blazers are involved, the only guy i would want would be derrick anderson. bonzi seems to be a real a-hole too, so i would not want him. or how about the "kobe stopper" and lovable wife-beater, ruben patterson?
thanks, i do what i can! im sorry i called you a whitebred honkey. that was rude and inappropriate. were all rocket fans here and i dont mean to anger any of my comrades. but what do you mean by im digging a deeper hole? i dont even own a shovel. it was just a joke and i did not mean to offend any sensitive posters. would it be racist to say that sam cassell looks like an alien?
Wow this thread is really starting to wander. I actually think it was a VERY interesting topic to begin with. Can we get off race and go back to the point? I think 'Sheed gets more hate than he deserves. Three seasons ago he was damn near unstoppable in the low post. One of the most dominating big forwards in the game, he was talked about in the same breath as KG. But that was three years ago. However I still like him, few people have moves in the low post like that anymore. He'd be good on the Rockets; I like KT better as a person but 'Sheed is just better. And at least some of that fire has got to be competitive fire... and his technicals are way down this year... maybe a change of scenery will do him good. All this is hypothetical though because it'd be tough to acquire him. I don't think Portland would trade 'Sheed for KT and Cat. In my opinion that'd be a good trade. Wallace is a more reliable scorer and then the Rox can upgrade the size of the backcourt. Having Rasheed is very risky. But potentially the Rox can be NASTY!!
so, do i get some props for restraint? i think it is funny that this little dickless b**** is runnin' around tryin' to start some ****. it don't matter that you don't understand, it ain't for you to decide what offends another person, but go on little boy, have some fun, it will come back, karma has a funny way of sneakin' up on ya. i would love to get together wit' ya to explain somethings, but i am in nyc, and you are a chickensh!t, so that will never happen. one day, son, one day. but again, seriously, this team does NOT need 'sheed wallace.
Or, trade not accepted. Dude, the last thing we need is another PF camping around the perimeter jacking up threes. His attitude and bad habits will damage our already defunct chemistry. I really like the Brian Grant idea, however. This guy has serious hustle.
my, how easy it is to talk s*** and threaten others over the internet. you must be one tough cookie! i wont be in nyc anytime soon, but since you are so tough and want to set me straight, let me know next time you will be in texas. one day, daughter, one day however, i do agree with you that we do not need rasheed. he is a bad apple, that one. he's got the issah rider complex. could be great, but he is such a jerk that it takes away from his game. the polar opposite of yao.
Why the hell is EVERYBODY so friggin ready to trade K.T. when he is FAR AND AWAY the most well-rounded 4 we have on the team. His outside shot is not = to MoT's and of course he hustles his "aaass" off!! I don't know if bringing Sheed here is a good idea, but I do think Cat's going to have to go along with MoT. Pretty soon, if S.F. doesn't stop the dribbling, we're going to have to trade him too just to get anywhere!!!!
From your posts I have realized that you have an attitude problem. Are you really Rasheed Wallace and you don't want to come to houston. crazy pothead.
by the way, over the internet I am actually 7"5" and 298 lbs of straight dynomite!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So you betta back up!!!!!!!!!!!
If you mean well rounded by not passing the ball to an open seven foot five target when it is two feet from the basket. Kenny Thomas is a shere!!!!!!!!! I was ashamed for Kenny when I watched and in humiliated horror rewatched the game last night. Yes, he was the only one that shot worth a damn, but my god!!!!!!!!!!! THe only thing he can pass is gas. He doesn't even play team defense. He has become so greedy that I think he would be a perfect fit on the trailblazers.
you want sheed????? stay off the smack, son. that crap will mess with your mind. look at crackhead wallace...
I tend to ignore personality conflicts. Sure, you don't want a team full of head-cases . But with good leadership, 1 or 2 can be contained. Besides, winning seems to cure most personality conflicts. You didn't hear about Allen Iverson a couple years ago in the press... except when they were drooling all over his game. Rasheed would fit the team perfectly. Absolutely perfectly. He can score, but doesn't need the ball in the post. He can rebound. And he has range.
