yeah it would be great to have wallace to be a rocket, it wouldnt mind me if he was. TRADE: kenny thomas to get wallace!
why so when the rockets lose wallace can get carrol dawson and rudy t and francis high on weed so we can pull off some dumb trade.
Wallace is the best player on playoff contender. My guess is, hes not available unless you are gonna offer Yao or Steve.
Houston trades: SF Glen Rice (9.7 ppg, 3.4 rpg, 1.1 apg in 27.3 minutes) PF Maurice Taylor (7.1 ppg, 2.5 rpg, 0.9 apg in 17.9 minutes) SG Cuttino Mobley (17.5 ppg, 3.9 rpg, 3.0 apg in 42.1 minutes) PF Eddie Griffin (8.5 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 1.1 apg in 25.9 minutes) Houston receives: PF Rasheed Wallace (17.9 ppg, 7.7 rpg, 2.3 apg in 35.7 minutes) SG Derek Anderson (13.7 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 4.1 apg in 30.9 minutes) TRADE ACCEPTED
sounds like a good idea. houston gets wallace. it'll be the remake of "RUSH HOUR". yao can be play jackie & wallace can play tucker. but the remake has a twist to it. instead of fighting the foes, they can fight amongts themselves. wallace is a pot-head lunatic. keep him away from HOUSTON.
What do you know? You think Scottie Quitten is the greatest player of all time. That shows your BB IQ.
My personal opinion about Scottie Pippen has nothing to do with my basketball IQ which btw is probably much higher than most on this board.
I don't even see why Portland would make that trade because the point of a trade is to make your team better, and that trade honestly does nothing for the Blazers. Although I am looking forward to Houston making a trade and solving this three forward situation, I personally am looking forward to seeing Kenny Thomas play in the east and am not opposed to us trading Mobley.
and why would either team do the trade, sheed solves nothing for the rockets, we need an enforcer on the boards like dale davis, but lets not mess up the team we have now, give them a little time and we'll be ok.
God no! Wallace is the biggest punk in the league. He screams like a child every time a foul is called on him. I think that Steve and Yao are two of the best citizens in the NBA. Why would we want to screw that up?
Yeah, its a bad idea. Yao ming is being called the answer to what critics say is wrong with the NBA, and well Wallace's additude is whats wrong with the NBA. That and Francis has been getting Technicals lately..........we don't want Wallace moving in on stevie's territory or anything.......J/K! (im not a francis basher so I was just kidding with that comment)
Weren't Wallace and Francis 1 and 2 in the association in techs a couple years back. I would like to have a reasonable expectation of my starters not getting disqualified on a regular basis.
I am worried about Wallace's personality...remember he threw something to Sobonis a couple years ago?....
Yea, he threw a towel at his face. Rasheed Wallace is a classless punk plain and simple. I wouldn't trade anybody for him.
Rasheed Wallace....How many would trade Griffin for him? Lots would say Wallace is the player we expect Griffin to be.
Their games do indeed compare favorably. The thing is, Griffin does not have Wallace's temper or attitude. Thats why I personally, would hold onto Griffin for the time being to see how his game develops. If he can develop into a Wallace, skill wise, which is entirely possible, then he will be better than Wallace because of the whole attitude aspect.
1. Houston already has its share of scorers who demand the ball. Wallace would increase the dilema 2. Bringing Wallace for instant help could undermine Ming's long term development. Ming may not be the dominant scorer night in and night out but he needs time, and ball to develop. Wallace would take away the plays from Ming. 3. Houston has shown in the past, that it likes to have harmonious group of players in the locker room. Sure, we had Barkely before, but at least he wasn't screwed up. 4. Wallace would damage the image of Rockets and seriously underpin our commercial potential, which Steve and Ming brings to the organization. Speaking of commercial potential, damm, we need new kit. I mean, it is so ugly As for Power Forward is concerned, I think it is too early in the season to judge Griff, Taylor and Kenny eventhough one or may be two of them has to go eventually. The best option might be to hold Griffin for one more season, and work out 3 or 4 team trade, since nobody would take both Mo and Kenny at the same time, to acquire good rebounding PF with strong inside presence.
