It is mad to trad artest. If it happened, it would take some problems, such as surely not good performance, and make other teammates dissappointed. Now that a warrior struggled to protect his league, whereas he was removed. No players surely want to stay in this kind of league or team.

I actually wouldn't be surprised if we do re-sign him. Clearly we see that Les Alexander and Morey still have mutual respect for him. If he indeed has this surgery and can prove he can be a complimentary player, we can get him for a cheap contract. In no way would it hinder us from getting a big fish in 2010, assuming we even have a desire to get a big fish in 2010.

I agree, I don't want to see Artest go. If anybody is ruining this offense its Tracy and his habit of standing around on the 3pt line and half assing it on both ends of the floor. Artest is a workhorse, I hope he stays and has a huge second half and shuts everyone up

You're going a little bit overboard but overall I agree. Good post

Any1 in here who believes it's good to trade Artest, we'll see come playoff time and when we play teams like the Jazz, let's see if we can win.

Artest can finally play for his contract and show what he is made up of..

and that's exactly the reason why I won't trade him..

i am expecting a big contribution from him if he stays a rocket this year..

    100% agreed.

Trading Ron is a mistake unless we're ready to throw up the white flag for this season.

Trading Artest for another player in his quality or better would possibly means also giving up either Landry or Brooks. That is too much IMO.

Damn, If just Tmac didn't announce his injury like that, there would be better hope for us to trade him.

I agree with you. If this happens, it will be a very, very, very big mistake. but I have to say, this bad thing probably will happen. I don't wanna see that. I love the courage which Artest have shown to us.

Maybe we got it all wrong. Maybe Ron has followed McGrady around the country paying doctor after doctor to tell McGrady the knee is fine when it is in fact a bloody mess inside.

Now, the plan has all come together and Ron can string together 30 good games and get that big contract!!!!

    muahahahahaha....muahahahaha!!!!

Rafer is probably in on it too based on his ppg and assists when McGrady is out.

Yes don't trade Artest!!! But only if we trade for Amare. Artest has been shooting the ball inconsistently but he does everything else. He's not scared to get hurt in the lane and I like the hussle plays. It seems like He's a little slower this year. Probably because of his foot injury but at least he's determined enough to play through it. About time T-mac sits down and heals. He's been ruining the team playing less than 100%. Even though he shows all around numbers T-mac hasn't made this team better with the lack of D and weak offense. This team can finally build team chemistry without subbing t-mac day to day. So it's

    rafer/brooks
    artest/wafer
    battier/artest
    scola/landry/hayes
    yao/deke

    It's not a bad line-up.
The only probably with the starting line-up is that it lacks speed.
It's been showing with the games loss by the young run and gun teams.
