Lol @ Texans fans trying to say their misery equals that of a Bengals Fan. Throw in the Oilers and then you've got yourself a much better argument.
The Bengals have had exactly 1 winning season in the past 20 years. I realize that being a Texans fan isn't all touchdowns and rainbows, but you've been around what, 6-7 years? Let's revisit this thread in 10 years, then we can talk.
oh yeah, well let me tell you about the old team called the oilers that used to be here... *shrugs shoulders* meh who cares
How about being a carson palmer owner? How do you rank up 250 yards passing and no touchdowns. Unreal.
Lock eyes from across the field Describe the play near the NFL shield Orton came to Denver from the Bears, Only to see his pass tipped in the air Makes its way up through the smoke and crowd The booth is the sky and I'm on your cloud Move in close as the defenders fly Their bodies touch and the Bengals cry Leave this place go back to the stands The ball first lands inside Stokely's hands The whole game changes, this wasn't the plan Suddenly a roar from the Bronco fans And I j*zz in my pants
well, Oilers history is a different story but as we all know from the "VY the Great" thread, being an Oilers fan doesn't always equal being a Texans fan And Miguel: hilarious!
The Texans are just trying to shake out the fakers. Soon, only an elite, rare group of true believers will be left. Just like the Raiders' fan base.
This is a pointless argument. BOTH sets of fans have undergone far too much misery. It's dumb to argue which group of fans has suffered more. That's like debating whether you'd rather get stabbed or shot.
that was pretty funny watching that play. usually, it's the receiver who does that and the defender intercepts it. not true in the world of the bengals. that is just bad luck. i guess he got an ear full for trying to be the hero instead of just swatting the pass away. wonder what the coach said in the lockerroom after that one. watching their coach chew them out on hard knocks was hardcore. i guess he believes in getting his players to perform by yelling at and intimidating them. my feeling is he was talking to his team like they were chumps. it's hard for me to understand that approach when my team's coach is wade "cupcake" phillips. lol
It's a hard knock life for us Bengals fans. Marvin has to yell at them... did you miss who some of the knuckle heads are on our team.
For anyone that watched this game (I didn't), did Roy Williams (safety) have a good game? I noticed he led the team in tackles. I was trying to keep tabs on him during Hard Knocks but he was never really focused on except in his introduction. Given he was injured last season, I was wondering how he is playing now. If he led the team in tackles, then he must have been stopping the run pretty good.
