It really is Tmac's fault that he's had no playoff success

t-mac's ill advised jump shots absolutely killed our momentum when we still have a workable margin and he persistantly going for the low percentage jump shots in the critical point of the game showed his ego will and gambler's mentality.

we lost this one on him, not to say the others are not to be blamed, because t-mac is the one who is perceived to be the MAN by himself and others when we win.

    Its clear ur right.

    It is all his fault.

Definately not fact that he has to carry crappy teams on his back an entire year and playoffs and isn't allowed to rest. Guys look at his teams.... vs. Detroit, sure 3-1, but he only had 1 more home game.... AND HIS BEST TEAMMATE OUTSIDE OF MIKE MILLER WAS PAT GARRITY. Are you serious? Garrity has done SHAT since TMac left him. Guys get a life....

Vs. Dallas 2-0. Sure, but TMac played out of his mind to get them there. He had very little help. The Refs screwed us in that series also (in case no one remembers) and TMac had to do everything.

I agree if in some way we lose this series, we can put blame on TMac, but did you watch today? 4 Players scored..... TMac cannot help win a game, if NO ONE SCORES.

I swear some people on this board are the most fickle people I have ever seen.

Its 1 Loss guys, and on the road at that....

If were gonna give him the glory if we win, the stench of defeat must be sent he's way. mac has publicly said that it's gonna be on him.brave or stupid, thats what he did. i havnt seen yao make such comments infront of the media or the general public. tracy placed all the pressure on himself. now it's time to produce. i think this game will light a volcano under he's behind.

T-Mac jacked up some s*** when I'd prefer him get to the basket cause our shots weren't falling. But as I watch the game and all of T-Mac's previous playoff games it is not his fault he hasn't had playoff success. The only man I ever seen step is game up on at the level he has is Jordan himself. But I'm sure if you replace Pippen, Rodman, and Harper with Jeryl Sasser, Steven Hunter, and Jacque Vaughn, Jordan wouldn't be getting out of the 1st round either.

It takes 5ive, and tonite we only had 4.

I'm so pissed right now. But I'm not even pissed about Tmac's jumpers...what I'm pissed about is seeing him shrink when the game became chippy. I saw almost every player scrap and claw under the basket for loose balls, but one.

Yao needs to cut down on those boneheaded to's, but his problem is not mental, whereas I'm afraid TMAC's could be. He needs to get tough when the going gets tough.

I love TMAC, but damn he frustrates me!

fair weathered fans? bandwagoners? Do you guys not mind losing games or something **** man! I'm pissed not just at T-mac but the team played flat footed tonight stop making excuses for them. Where was that scowl T-mac had from games 1-2. I had a feeling we were gonna lose but at least lose with some pride.

Take it strong to the basket, take better shot selection wasnt that the plan or did the memo get lost somewhere?

Okay I'm calm now... we just need to take better care of the ball and make our open shots and we'll be ok.

This is not tennis. I never in my entire life could understand why fans insist on making basketball an individual sport.

Follow me here: do you agree that Kobe Bryant is the baddest basketball player alive? If so, why is it that Kobe Bryant allowed his Laker team to lose last year to an Amare-less Suns team after being up 3-1? Moreover, can he prevent his team from being swept this year? May be, but they will still end up losing. If Kobe was a tennis player, it would be so much easier to blame him.

Actually, Yao did imply in a Chinese-language interview that he's looking forward to a revenge matchup with the Mavs. So he more or less did, just not in English.

But again, I am not saying either player should skirt the responsiblity, all I am saying is that this is a team sport, no matter how much we as fans buy into the hype of a "one man wrecking crew". It's a nice marketing tool, but it's a myth.

Remember, even our own hero, The Dream, and his Rockets were swept by the Sonics one year removed from winning it all. Shaq and Kobe have been swept before, so has Duncan and his Spurs.

It's a TEAM sport. This is not streetball...

Ok this is what the GARM is telling me today.

TMac start being a thug, punch fans, like Artest, yell at officials, like Sheed.

GUYS TMAC DOES NOT NEED TO DO SOMETHING TO SHOW INTENSITY. He is playing his game the best he can. HE IS SOFTSPOKEN.. NOT EVERYONE YELLS OR PUMPS THEIR FIST. He wants to win as much if not more than we want him to win.....

Wow these posts are beyond stupid.

Well, he did take a lot of contested shots, but what you expect him to do? He did try to set the others up and they couldn't buy a basket, and Yao...either a brick or a TO. And at least Tmac had a fairly good first half. I don't think Tmac is the main reason for this lose. Yao and the bench should be.

1.) If you're the team leader, you MUST step up and take responsibility for the loss. Don't blame your team. Step up.
2.) 9-23 is NOT stepping up.

This loss was necessary. They needed to remember they CAN lose. I'd rather them have lose Game 3 than 4 anyway.

Oh he is? I am sorry, I had no idea. I just looked at the score and they're still down at half time. Not to mention that they got blown out and humiliated the first two games of the series. Not to mention that he lost a series after taking a 'commanding' 3-1 lead in the series last season. Or that he went 4-16 in the second half against the Suns the last game, including 1/10 in the fourth.

Yeah, you're absolutely right, he's "destroying" the Suns.

It's not on Kobe, not one bit. That's my point...

*I'd rather have them lose Game 3 than Game 4 anyway. Of course, we still haven't WON (or lost) Game 4.

Actually I think the crowd in the Toyota Center is to blame
I mean . . i know the game was in Utah
but the crowd in the toyota center should have stepped up

    Rocket River

I'm not concerned. . .we *should* have sweeped
    but . . oh well
