My little brother plays basketball for the 7th grade "A" team for York Jr. High. Two weeks ago they played John Cooper IN THE Woodlands, and sure enough, guess who he guarded all night.....Avery Johnson Jr. Little point guard just like his pops. Sure enough I look over in the gym and see his dad, Avery Johnson. My brother just worked Averys son over soooooo bad. The Final score was 75-32 with my brothers team winning.
Dude, we've had four or five, and two scimmages and the first game isn't till next month. Some of these teams are running plays. Its scary, this is the first organized sports my son has been in so he's behind the curve, but morey's kid is arguably the best player.
morey's cell was blowing up yesterday, but don't ask me what I heard, its just funny to see all this going on with the gm. granted, I hadn't seen him since I started this thread and only see him once a week if they're in town.
actually not really, they don't want the players talking about the situation in the media is basically the extent of what I heard, which is pretty obvious. I don't even know who he was talking to
you know what, as soon as typed that I thought that may even be too much because a lot can be read into it. honestly, I couldn't tell you specifically what he meant. I guess with rafer's comments the other day, anything can be blown up.
Ugh..... The Rockets have been known to monitor this BBS from time to time and by tipping your hand, it might have spoiled your chance to have a RF34 moment and become a Legend.
Dude, for the sake of Morey being able to enjoy his son's games/practices with some semblence of privacy, be careful how much you divulge in here. He might start feeling like he can't attend as much. Or, heaven forbid, step out of the gym to talk Rocket shop. Then how could you get us the info? Wait and only give us the really BIG scoop, because after that you'll surely be on his black list!
Rocketsfan34, I believe was his name. He overheard the Steve Francis trade to Houston going down before it was made public. He overheard it at the mall via a guy talking on the phone to someone.
you know Morey reads the board or at least has someone tell him something like this thats for sure. he probably will stick to texting and emailing only from now on at his sons games and practices.
