    wtf is up with seemingly everyone throwing out this saying now? When did it become trendy? I'm seeing it everywhere and it means absolutely nothing.

    ugh.

    According to urbandictionary.com, "it is what it is" is an expression of helplessness... It DOESN'T sound cool!

    The way people are using it now though is like Dennis Green's little tirade of "they are who we thought they were". I view those as the same and now equally as annoying. It's not cute anymore. It's not quite as bad as show me the money, but it's getting there.
