It doesn't matter if you like him or not. I can personally care less if he gets traded, the fact of the matter is... why can't people bother at least spelling his name CORRECTLY. It has nothing to do with how well he plays.
He did as well. Actually, when I read the title of this thread I couldn't help but also think of the Olajuwon misspellings. As I recall, the most common was Olajuwan, which coincidentally is the opposite of the Juwan misspelling. lol. So question is: Are we misspelling Juwan as Juwon in some subliminally lesdyxic dream to see some Olajuwon in Juwan.
LOL says the Canadian who cant even speak English. An amazing first post I might add, do you have such an inferiority complex as to go onto basketball messageboards to insult the educational systems of other nations? Pretty lame
I think that you have delved into the heart of the matter. I often misspell Howard's name myself, and have no ready explanation. What would be really nice, though, would be to see Howard's End as a Rockets player, sent off in a deal for someone with a name a bit easier to remember how to spell.
Just wait til Hakeem name one of his kids Juwan. Juwan Olajuwon is gonna suffer from spelling anxiety his whole life.
I Juwon't care to type his name right cuz I dont like him that much. For real, the misspelling of his name really is annoying at times. Juwaun deserves better than that.....
But, your added criteria for a Howard trade might limit CD too much. For instance, I'll offer up a classic dreamcasting trade for Howard that is misspelled as well. To quote Bill Simmon's mother, "What about that Wayne Dwayne?"
