According to this article, Bosh hasn't decided anything yet.

    Agent: Bosh 'Hasn't Decided Anything'

    Jun 27, 2010 10:22 PM EST
Henry Thomas, the agent for Chris Bosh, specifically refuted a report that his client has decided to sign with the Bulls and generally denied that Bosh has made any decision about his upcoming free agency.

"Completely untrue," Bosh's agent wrote in an e-mail to NBA.com. "He hasn't decided anything."

One report cited an NBA general manager who thought Bosh was certain to follow LeBron James to Chicago. Another GM was cited saying that Bosh had already made plans to sign in Miami.

we are not getting chris bosh get in through your heads, we can pursue all we want but its not happening. he has never said anything about houston, never said "yeah thats a definitely a possibility or I'd love to play with a so and so on the rockets, or thats a great organization." the guy has shown zero interest in coming here and many of you are still on your hands and knees waiting for him.

many of you say we have all these trade assets he wont leave that money on the table, let me remind you, rashard lewis signed a max contract a few years back and was involved in a sign and trade for 2ND ROUND PICK!!!! he didnt lose any money he signed a 120 million dollar contract.

o well, enjoy your fairy tales, rub your lucky rabbits foot, say your prayers and maybe well add a back up center.

To me, there is still a great chance for bosh to come to houston. Just like Clutch summarized on the website.
    1. $ 30 mil
    2. chance of winning it all

I don't think most of us would even accept it.

If it comes down that, it's better for the Rockets to not spend at all. Just wait till 2011 and see what happens.

That's all true, but neither of those teams had LeBron in 2009-10. Bosh has the chance to play with him AND either Wade or the Chicago core. Big difference.

Camp Bosh has to publicly deny stuff like this - if they don't, they lose tons of leverage.

For similar reasons, teams and GMs always (falsely) deny trade talk until the deal is done.

The take home message is, everyone will lie to the press. Official statements mean zero.

We need to sit back and watch what unfolds. The FAs will enjoy a week or two of teams rubbing their egos, and then things will rapidly fall into place.

I don't understand what teams like NY and Miami are thinking? I can see 1 guy turning down 30 million to sign. Can anyone see 2 players leaving that kind of jack on the table to sign in Miami and play with wade and the Kansas kid they still have under contract? Nobody is going to Miami sign and trade because they have nothing to trade. The only one who makes out in a Miami scenario is Wade and he better be a helluva salesman. I come out fine, but, You lose 30 mil but you get to play with me. What about NY? Nearly the same scenario. While i am not holding out any false hope, I can see why we should at least be considered.

All possibilities exist until they don't.

Why post the ardent denials? Isn't it just a preempting of disappointment?

It would be stupid not to make every effort to make your team better until the ink is dry.

What incentive do you think Toronto would have to do that? Lose arguably the best player in the franchise's history for a second-round pick? Sure, if you think Bosh will give up the $30m straight up. People with common sense don't think that. So Toronto has leverage, and if you think they would give him up for a second-round pick, you're nuts.

Just like how an "insider" said yesterday that it was a done deal that Bosh is going with LeBron to Chicago, right? There are thousands of "insiders" right now. The vast majority have been and will be wrong. It's throwing darts at the board and seeing what sticks.

Miami had Wade in 2009-10, and you're making the assumption that it's a done deal LeBron goes to Chicago or Miami. I don't. Sexy rumors sell stories, but I think far too many people are forgetting that these players would be throwing away $30m to sign straight up with CHI/MIA, and there's almost no precedent for max-level players doing that. I don't think it's wise to assume anything in regards to the "drawing power" of those two teams until we see what transpires. Anonymous sources lead to wild speculation, more often than not...

Legally, I don't think he can even say he made a decision until free agency starts.

The incentive for Toronto to get a 2nd round pick is that Bosh will leave for nothing to Miami. So Im not nuts, and you dont understand the rules. You can trade Bosh toa team like Miami with space for a 2nd rd pick and Bosh gets his extra 30 million. In fact, Toronto fans actually want that 2nd rd pick because they are convinced they might get nothing.

As far as Insider, the insider I was referring to is Ira, a guy that is like Clutch in Houston, he runs everything. He even mentioned the exact location of this event but I cant remember the name. He even tells a funny story how Wade got an invitation to his own party,so that means someone else that knows has informed Wade.

The insider about Bosh to Bulls is an "anonymous" source to espn. Mine is an actual name. I got his twitter and he is highly regarded in Miami.

No, he won't. It doesn't matter what Toronto fans want - they're every bit as uneducated as we are and just going by the media reports. There is virtually no precedent for a top free agent "leaving for nothing" and bypassing $30m. I'll believe it when I see it.

And I think Clutch would be the first one to tell you that he's been wrong plenty of times. (As have I, and pretty much anyone in journalism who has relied on an anonymous source. It's just the nature of it.) In this particular case, it's even more thin. It's a freakin' party - do you really think it would be complex to delay or cancel it, if it didn't work out?

Also, the insider on Bosh to the Bulls - it's the freakin' New York Times, only the most pretigious journalism organization in the world. Do you really think they're just quoting random yahoos? That's not to say that I think Bosh is going to Chicago. All I know is that there are plenty of people in the know who seem to believe in completely contradictory courses of action - which tells me he hasn't made a decision.

Im starting not to want Bosh at all. He is riding Lebron's jock strap. I guess he don't have what it takes to win it big himself unless he's riding on Lebron's bandwagon.

Again, if you were in Bosh's situation, why in the world would you decide before LeBron? There are multiple teams who have the money and/or sign-and-trade assets for one max free agent but not for two. And anyone who thinks they even have a slight chance at LeBron is probably going to go after him - he's the greatest player on the planet.

So there are going to be several situations where Bosh could get a max offer, but wouldn't know for sure until after LeBron decides. So if you were in Bosh's shoes, why on earth would you decide before LBJ? The only reason I can think of is a temporary ego boost to "prove" he's a team's top priority, and I'd think Bosh is smart enough to not sign away the majority of his career based on a quick ego massage of being "priority No. 1".

Mark my words. Bosh IS coming to Houston. There is a chance it won't be him but I'm certain there will be LOTS to talk about around here on July 1st.
