Every one talks about how bad Vince's game was against A&M, but they fail to mention that Bush was very mediocre in 3 games of 4 game stretch leading into the Fresno State game, and two of those were against the worst teams in the PAC 10, Washington and Washington St.
How much was talked about Vince's 506 total yard outburst versus OkSt. while Bush was held to 97 yards rushing 40 receiving that same week versus WashSt.? But you're right, you gotta put on a show at the end to get the votes, nothing really wrong with that. Did anyone see that ESPN piece on Heisman voters? It was pretty interesting stuff.
I think your underestimating White's speed, and I believe White is the bigger match-up problem - especially against the smaller Texas LB's. Bush is a handful, but I think what will make or break this game is White attacking the linebackers and corners - forcing them to wrap up and bring down a bigger baack or give up a huge chunk of yardage.
