I bet they interviewed middle aged women who are borderline attractive at best.

Women do not want hot guys with hot bodies. They say they do but in reality, they want someone who is just average because women are insecure by nature and don't want a guy leaving them. If a guy is hot and works out alot, then the woman is going to feel pressured to work out alot and stay thin too.

There is a 87% chance this poll was made up to make the average, beer guzzling, sports-obsessed men (ie. 70% of American males) feel better about themselves.

eve, your analysis only confirms women have no idea what they want. a lot of 'ummmms' and 'hmmms' and 'not sure' in your 'analysis'.

    Eve has inspired me...

I would prefer a tall dark handsome man with facial stubble and a geeky personality.

I think I already said stubble is fairly hot as long as it isn't like Zach Galifianakis-like

I definitely agree with this.. if I know more about technology than he does.. sort of freaks me out. Plus I want someone who can appreciate my love for sci-fi as well as fix my computer and most anyone with those characteristics have acquired the "geek" label (think Chuck Bartowski!)

Have to say, not a big fan of hairy beasts. I think this must have been a distant third.

Loves to read - check. If I enjoy doing it, I want him to share that enjoyment.

Cries at a soppy film - Hey, who am I to judge when I do the same thing? As long as we aren't talking openly slobby sobbing in public... we are a-okay.

Glasses remind women of Clark Kent. Clark Kent was a hot superhero, who was slightly geeky... are yall sensing a trend there?

Grey hair is fine, does nothing especially fantastic for me, but it doesn't take away from good looks.

Supporting a sports team... well they dang well better.. and it better be the ones I support!

Well, I must be one of the other four.

I don't mind an emotional side, but I would prefer if he cried less than I do.

I prefer the term bulky. Me personally, I like big boys, those that are taller and with some substance... ie Chucky, Carl, Kyle etc... I don't want someone who couldn't defend me if we go out to a Rockets game in Indy when I start yelling for my team and against theirs. Beer guts are not what we are talking about here.

Now this is completely untrue... women are looking for the perfect guy... for them. That doesn't mean the same and often isn't the same for every woman and it CERTAINLY isn't what Hollywood perceives as perfect.

This.. absolutely true. I mean seriously, would you guys want a woman that's perfect either?? They don't exist... in either gender... and if they did, they'd be hell to live with.

Okay I think that's enough debunking.

The article could have been written much more accurately by a female with the statistics they were using, because I assure you whomever that "daily mail reporter" was, he was assuredly male.

So a tall-handsome-muscular guy (resembling superman and/or professional basketball players) who is well read, intelligent and is interested in all the things you are interested in...and is not perfect? ;)

I know exactly what I want. I can't speak for all women.
I only had 1 ummm and I clearly said no.
It was only 1 hmmmmm and that was the only one I was unsure about.

Part of the confusion is, women of course being confused. "Dont know what the HELL they're doing" is a thought that comes to mind often concerning women :p Other part is, in actuality, two women can be very similar but no two women are the same. There's so many kind of different women now compared to the "traditional" women of the past. Its hard to just consider everyone universally the same.

A woman like guys a little geeky, imperfect but still very proficient in things.
A woman like guys a little geeky, imperfect but still very proficient in things. And also likes WOMEN who are the same...
This is the age we're living in.
