Exactly. Silas needs to be fired. If JG and KPJ can shoot 2-17 and get 35 minutes a game so should Alpi.
Since we went to SenHub with KPJ out our offensive rating is up from 109 to 111, which is good. Our defensive rating has gone from 117 to 120, which is bad...... We need a better coach who can help our players be successful. all of them. DD
stop making up stats you are always lying taking selective stats because you did dig in and can't admit you are always wrong sengun played 15 min yesterday yet you are counting the 153 point game
Silas is clearly at fault. I’ll give you that Stone is also at fault, which is why he also needs to be on the hot seat. Frankly I wouldnt loan Stone the keys to my car, but I can’t disagree with the sentiment that we should wait to see what he does at the trade deadline and offseason before nailing shut his coffin. He definitely owns a big part of the current sh#t show though.
Figured this much out….Rockets believe they have gem in Silas. He could lose a 1000 games (which he’s well on his way to) and they’ll keep him. DO NOT BE SHOCKED to hear a three year extension announced in the near future.
He’s damn if he do or damn if he don’t - He pulls Alpi and SOFs cry, “he should of left him out there and trust him to not pickup foul 3-4” He let’s him stay and “OMG no coach would leave him out there”
Wasn’t the same talent pool - you missing the top scorer ( Gordon and another ballhandler / defender Tate) that’s huge against SGA
Okay let's look at this in the best possible light for Silas. Stone is telling him who to play. Stone is setting the rotations. He still is not developing the players. Jalen has regressed. Jabari looks worse now than he did at the beginning of the season. So put everything else on Stone, but player development is absolutely on Silas and he has failed. If Green looked terrible the 2nd half of last year then I could say "Okay he just sucks", but he didn't. He looked like someone who could be an all star in a few years. This year? Absolutely terrible in most games. This is on Silas and not developing players. Sengun hasn't developed either. Not to where he could be. He came in with skills playing Euro basketball all his life. Can you imagine where he would be if there was a coach who could actually develop players?
Then roster is badly constructed. Its not first year post trade…. Its freaking third year. By now we have like 4-5 first round picks, two top3 guys and we not only made zero progress, we actually regressed. At this point Stone is as bad as Silas and this teams play just reflects it Miss me with the tanking. You can tank/loose and still develop proper basketball. this team is not on NBA level. This team wouldnt win in Spain or Turkey. And most definetly they would win the Euroleague. I have never seen that bad of a team, it seems we play worse than Charlotte Bobcats
If Head Coach commits to the coaching decisions of GM that means a) he shouldnt be the headcoach b) he is a loser c)has no balls d) gm is acting out of pocket
Oh I agree with you there. However, that doesn't negate my points. Silas should grow a pair, quit, and quit ruining his name.
I suspect it became more of an entity that is 'I cannot back pedal anymore, I am stuck in the quicksand of KPJ........' Help!
youngsters need an authoritarian - accountability... If u got an asst like Lucas that can climb up all in kpjs bizness - fine... but as a head coach - that aint yer place... u gotta see big picture and work for the team on the whole...
