i haven't read about any specific contenders inquiring about him, but i would think BOS and LAC should be interested. the reports i read early in the season cited PHO and MIN as interested suitors, the latter mentioned something about sending back a young player in return. anyways i hope we do trade him to a contender, will probably be to both his and our benefit

I believe it would be beneficial to both parties. Tucker has mentally checked out on Tilman imo and needs to move on
    to another contender.

Rockets don’t know what they want to do with Wall, Oladipo, House, Cousins, others? Too much uncertainty.

Contend or Fire Sale determined by trade deadline. Either way I think Tucker is gone by trade, waive/buy out just like
    J Johnson

Clutchfans need to come to terms with it.

Tucker doesn’t need an extension. His attitude wasn’t helpful at the beginning of the season. He made himself a distraction and isn’t nearly good enough for that. When he’s active he’s definitely useful but he’s clearly got an inflated self-valuation and is getting quite old.

Relative to NBA standards, he has been underpaid for the value that he has brought to this team. He always plays hard, he plays through injuries, he never takes plays off, etc. Any human being that isn't a robot will sometimes show those emotions because they can't help it. It is what it is. He said what he had to say.

Yes, he makes a ton of money relative to the average Joe, but he still deserves to be upset.

Props to PJ for pouring in a career high 6 points tonight, extension or not. The man is a pro.

extend? no. we're not a contender, we don't extend a 36 year old role player who can't go anything on offense and is undersized on defense.

harsh criticism of one of our all time hero's, the heart and soul of our team, I know. but he's not what he was 3 years ago. he's slower and can't guard the perimeter like he used to. the system and stars have changed around him making him a bad fit. next to James he works perfectly. James has huge usage and only required teammates to stand in the corner and shoot wide open 3's. wall and dipo are not James. they don't have his offensive gravity and don't create wide open looks like James did. Silas' system isn't MDA/Morey's iso ball, it requires all players to be able to dribble and pass.

His role and fit are reduced and his regression has begun. Get what we can for him now and move on. No more paying future money for past performance.

Also the defensive rating splits are BS because his minutes are aligned with the team's best player. Defense against the second unit that doesn't score always looks better. Guarding Durant vs guarding bench scrub is a joke. People need to stop using numbers and calling it analytics because it implies facts not in evidence.

KJ Martin still is growing Taller.

Hopefully he is 6'8 Next Year. The Length at Forward Positions is needed.

I hope KJ gets a lot of Vitamin D from the Sun, playing outside, or running.

Tucker showed the diff tonight between him mailing it in and him actually trying.

Rox have been outplaying their opponents since the beginning prob was when Tucker was mailing it in they fall into a huge hole in the first quarter and either win a close one or collapse completely. Now Tucker has mostly gotten over not getting his extension and back to his old self. Its a big diff when he is proactive vs when he is passive. It doesnt show in boxscore but it does in BPM (-20 vs +21).

PJ is the 3rd best defender on the Rockets.

Silas also has played PJ more than any other Rocket. Primarily because he just does not miss any games, he is an iron man, also because he is the leader on defense communicating the switches.

Either you trust Silas or you don't.

Do you trust Silas or not?

From where I'm sitting it looks like you believe he is a dumbshit.

Or are you the dumbshit for calling him out?
