    Don't get me wrong, im not sure Chicago with Horace could have beaten the 95 rockets, but it does make a significant difference.

    But at the same time, without letting Horace go, they probably wouldnt have gotten Rodman, so they probably wouldn't have even won the next 3, ifs and buts.

    On Hakeem, as most people here know, and MJ did as well, that he was in a particularly good part of his career over that 2 year stretch, and was playing at a pretty legendary level.

    ...to the contrary - there was a very credible story that circulated before Jordan's "I'm leaving the game of basketball" announcement that linked Jordan to a series of all night casino visits(I believe it was in Atlantic City) in between playoff games. It didn't paint Jordan as just the casual gambler blowing off some steam.
