He is playable needs playing time 2/3 of the cap goes to once in a generation players this is what’s left. Please have the coach coach.
We barely have a TEAM. We have one superstar, one aging star of questionable health, a streaky former 6th man of the year, a pretty good big man, and one dawg. The rest of our team wouldn't even crack the rotation on any other championship contender outside of a Nene, and he is only good for spot minutes. Clark and Hartenstein show promise, sure, but they're rookies.
No, YOU are missing the point. We need a 3pt shooter and we HAVE one in EG who isn't producing. Scrubberson sucks. Again, Scrubberson sucks. He wilted here last year and got tossed to the bench. The $hitty Suns team gave him a test drive, laughed and promptly sat him on the bench. Why? Scrub. So if you want 3pt shooting, start yelling at EG.
You can't depend on one guy for all your 3pt shooting needs, that's the flaw in your thinking. You need REDUNDANCY as players will always have off nights yet you still want to win.
Yikes. Our bench is pure trash. We went from blasting the Wiz to losing as soon as Harden tried to catch his breath. I'm not sure where to go from here but I think you have to either trade these scrubs or play them and hope they develop. Not playing them isnt a viable option because you can't afford to run Harden and CP3 into the ground. A 7 man rotation might win a few more games but it's very short sided. We have to get production from the bench if we roll with what we have or trade them all and shuffle the deck. Don't we have a development league for reasons like this? Maybe it's time for a European scouting trip? What's prigionni up too? Lol Find some air bud, air bull, or even troy Daniels type shooters. There has to be some shooters out there somewhere... Let's just outgun everyone. Our defense sucks anyway.
More bench-sucking stats... Over the last four games, our bench production is horrible. Compared to the opponent's bench production, it's startlingly awful: Detroit W 126-124 HOU: 16 pts / 6 rbs / 2 asts / .357 FG% / .333 3PT% DET: 44 pts / 11 rbs / 8 asts / .484 FG% / .423 3PT% Detroit L 116-111 OT HOU: 13 pts / 6 rbs / 2 asts / .250 FG% / .091 3PT% DET: 25 pts / 9 rbs / 5 asts / .333 FG% / .182 3PT% Cleveland L 117-108 HOU: 16 pts / 5 rbs / 1 asts / .545 FG% / .333 3PT% CLE: 44 pts / 18 rbs / 7 asts / .536 FG% / .571 3PT% Washington L 135-131 OT HOU: 9 pts / 8 rbs / 1 asts / .250 FG% / .143 3PT% WAS: 45 pts / 21 rbs / 12 asts / .640 FG% / .500 3PT% Every game, our bench was outplayed soundly. Thumped in every important stat category. Reamed, in fact. Look at the above stats for tonight's benches and you'll see where this game was lost. This is dismal, and I'm not sure a healthy Nene, Qi and Knight are going to make any difference at all.
I am not depending on 1 guy. It is just that EG is on the roster and capable. Bench warmer Scrubberson is NOT on the roster and is not capable. His "nights are always off."
I think we should have given up one less player - kept lou williams or harestein or beverly. You know LA would have done the trade as they had no leverage. We gave up 5 guys for someone who was going to opt out anyway
