Faried, Tucker, and Clark is helping me get over Ariza really quickly. Rivers is playing better also.
It doesn't take much to flip from shame to fame or back again on ClutchFans. One day Harden is a bum, can't hit anything, killing the team; next game, he is greatest of all time, a basketball god.
They gonna use him as our secret weapon come play off time.. just like they did with capela when he first started to explode onto the scene
Tucker is a great matchup for the Warriors since he can bother his fellow Longhorn Durant. Doesn't mean he's a great matchup against all teams. In fact he usually isn't when he plays the 4. Either way, he played the 3 in that Warriors game which is exactly where he belongs. We'll see about House being useful against GSW but I don't see why not.
Coaching is responsible for Tucker's bad stats too since he'd be a lot more effective at the 3. Tucker is a good 1-on-1 defender but his inability to rebound at the 4 is neutralizing his D. It's not as much of a problem if he's at the 3 as we saw in the Warriors game.
He wasn’t last game, when EG was starting. Mike pulled the plug. Listen to his postgame comments after starting Faried. He isn’t a fan. Watch the Atlanta game after his air ball. It won’t work because Faried can’t shoot, period. Atlanta dared him to shoot another and he refused, instead diving into our spacing and basically destroying the offense. It’s over for Faried as a starter until he decides to let it fly, which is probably never happening. He had a chance.
To add to your post, Tucker is a great matchup against GS because of his versatility. If Kerr ever wanted to go back to their Death lineup during certain stretches against us, MDA can go even smaller and stay in their "switch-all" defense. If that were to happen, PJ would more-or-less be matched up with Draymond, nowhere near the explosive offensive player as opposed to Durant. If Kerr insists on keeping Cousins on the floor, he would be a major "net negative" player out there for GS. Clint would stay out there, and make Cousins have to work to get his points. And as last Saturday showed, when he is out there on defense, CP and James would "take your pick" to attack and exploit either Curry or Cousins in PnR scenarios. Yes, PJ would most likely be on Durant in this instance, but having both Curry and Cousins on the court at the same time means they will give up their fair share of points that KD would help generate.
Bump...THIS is dude's time to show if he's got the nuts to make it in the NBA. Play D, shoot the 3 and rebound like a madman.
