Who would've thought after the Warriors win that Clark would be getting DNP-CDs and Hartenstein would be in the G-league? I don't understand why an old team that's struggling defensively doesn't think they could use younger athletes who can hustle and provide energy? https://stats.nba.com/lineups/advan...t=NET_RATING&dir=1&CF=MIN*GE*10:GROUP_NAME*E* If you sort our best rotations of at least 10 minutes by net rating, our top 6 rotations all have Clark in it. Our top 3 rotations have Clark AND Hartenstein (maybe all from the Warriors game). How did the coaching staff watch tape from that game and never think that we should keep using that rotation? Pure insanity.
It says a lot about the state of your bench where we started the season with Melo at backup PF and then moved to 2-way Clark and then moved to G-League House. And at the same time the backup PG is MCW. What a disaster, Morey. sheesh.
not to mention yer asking 33 yo PJ and CP3 to log 38 & 39 minutes... while the guy you just signed to a multi year contract cant even get on the floor... it's like we're trying to run guys into an injury... smh... maybe thats the plan... an injury or 2 to our starting lineup - and we are lottery bound... While DM & MDA hope that this season will then get chalked up to injuries... as opposed to the reality of the situation...
They resigned this dead last on the Rockets or maybe World with that many attempts 24-83 .289 FG% Melo's spot replacement to spite Melo. Bunch of losing jerks. Paul and Melo must have had a falling out for Paul to not defend Melo yet. Maybe it was his $100,000 non Melo discussion agreement.
Dude hasn't played in months and here he is STARTING and giving the team 32 quality minutes and was a +5. 14 points and 5 rebounds and hit more than half of his threes. Tucker got ejected and the team didn't miss a beat because Gary filled in nicely. Oh do I wish he'd stay in the rotation but you know he won't, because D'Antoni is a clueless fool. He'd be a perfect backup 4 to Faried. With House back he's the perfect backup to Tucker (and in my opinion should be starting over him). Capela | Nene Faried | Clark Tucker | House | Green Harden | Gordon | Shumpert Paul | Rivers That is a really solid, deep team.
When he hits his threes he is clearly a perfect fit in this system. Excellent defense without fouling, super quick release from three. When he is right, I absolutely love his game on this team. Also, Kenneth Faried is never going to be a starter here. That's just a fact.
Tucker should start, he's a solid defender who can't create his own shot. Best suited to guard the other team's top players and get open looks off of Harden and CP3. Putting him on the bench significantly diminishes his contributions and puts a bigger load on Harden on the defensive end.
House has more tools in his game, is a better rebounder, a much better shooter, and the team's defense is better when he's on the court. That's why he had a higher net rating than Tucker. Tucker was signed to be an energy guy off the bench. He should not be playing starters' minutes.
I doubt MDA will abandon the Capela/Faried starter combo when they haven't even lost a game yet when they try it.
Bro, cmon. Stop using net rating for a small ass sample size, Tucker is a better shooter and a better perimeter defender, our best in fact.
