We can blame lack of offensive system leading to those turnovers on Ime. Perhaps he should learn to coach instead of yelling and demeaning players like a Udicker that he is. That doesn't inspire confidence, it just breaks down young players.
A lot of you guys dont realize it, we have a young team who mostly played AAU their whole lives. Thats why we need a coach who is hands on and will teach these guys hands on. Last 2 years Udoka had a full staff but "brain drain" has been going on particularly with Tiago Splitter who is now doing wonders with the Blazers. I think Udoka is just a black Mchale in that he doesnt really understand this coaching thing and his assistants do the actual work behind the scenes. Everybody wanna blame a lack of a pg bro Reed and Amen were supposed to be the pgs. If they cant develop to be pgs why do we even have them? Like what is the point of a 6'1 SG who is a bad defender? Youd hope a guy you picked 3rd is gonna be better than players traded for a 2nd lol.
Rockets starter's age today: 21, 22, 23, 23, 24 Today, they can have the youthful inexperience excuse. Overall, Rockets brought in the wrong kind of vet leadership in Durant. The wrong vet help in DFS & Capela. And didn't have a good point guard floor general after FVV to stabilize things. They're having young players go way out their comfort zones, while having championship expectations. Yes I will say it, last year with Jalen Green, Brooks, & Landale was better than the chemistry issues this season
Amen shouldn't be a point guard. But at least he got lead PG minutes to work out the kinks. Why is the non PG at PG, and every other player at PG, but not the actual PG? And not getting an actual PG on top of that? I am NOT SAYING that Reed is good or will be good. Just it all seems overthinking backward
If we got an actual pg Reed would be glued to the bench. He only got 26 mins and thats with no pg right? If we had a pg Udoka would play that guy and Reed would be back to 12 mins or less. I dont think Reed is gonna be an all star or anything but I think he can def be better than someone like Ayo Dosunmu who everyone is salivating over. Dosunmu is 26 I think 5 yrs from now Reed can def be better than him offensively at least.
