so the point of this article is that obama sounds like bush/cheney because he says a nation has the right to defend itself against terrorists from other nations that have attacked them. how does this say he is shifting position as the article claims, its been his position since day one. if this is some backway defense of iraq it still doesn't fly because everyone knows where the terrorists were from who attacked us, and we knew where they were trained and allowed to prosper.

It sucks for the Palestinians but I think these people will still be fighting a hundred years from now. I just despise the fact that we're using US tax dollars to fund Egypt and Israel so no matter what someone's pissed of at us. That anger globally causes risk to our international companies and their products and services. That affects our lifestyle and our country's economy. I feel for anyone in a violent situation, I just don't think there is much we can do without getting the religious whacko's on either side to blame us. Better not to get in the middle but make sure that after a long day of battle they both relax with a nice refreshing Coca Cola instead of blowing up a McDonalds as its a symbol of the one's backing the enemy.
