Chievous, thank you for your comments and taking the time to write them down.

Guilty as charged. As you say, it is sort of the nature of the D&D, or maybe mine.

Yes, it's cherry picking. I would think that people usually post articles that would support their opinion on things. Not sure if you have read the article, but I think the guy is right on pretty much everything. I would appreciate your comments about it.

Yes, but not every religion is the same, and the followers of different religions have different values and behave in different ways, and different religions have a different amount of people being willing to turn to violence to "defend" or push their religion.

As I lived in the US for a year (and had a girlfriend originally from Puerto Rico whose mother didn't speak English despite having been there for 20 years) and obviously have been there many times, I think I can say that while there are similarities, there are also huge differences, and they are based on culture/religion.

    Yes.

Yes, this is obviously true. But does that say more about them or about me? There are several muslim posters on here who understand what I am doing and while they might think that I go overboard sometimes (probably rightfully so), they realize that I do not hate muslims, and they can have a rational discussion with me without being aggressive. Those who get aggressive and display intolerance basically prove me right, unfortunately, as they represent what I criticize.

    Thank you. Yes, I agree.

I did not say that. They are bent on domination of most of Palestine

Well they decided to have it on land occupied in great majority by people of their same ethnicity who practiced a diffeent religion and did not want to live in a land which privileges the religion of the new Zionist arrivals.

Good to see you don't equate being anti-Zionist with being anti-semitic. Well the vast majority of Palestinians who are not Jewish have strong feelings that the oppression suffered largely in Europe does not give Zionists the right to land they occupied and iived largely in peace with the local Jews for a thousand years.

.[/Conceivably when Jews learn to live in Palestine/Israel without special privilges in a country sort of like American and other multi-ethnic. multi religion states. The Jews have suffered enough without locking themselves into the largely disgarded imperialist practices from earlier centuries.

I'm sure someone can provide you embarassing writings from the founders of Zionism long before the Holocaust that are totally in accord with the imperialism of the 18th and 19th centuries-- writings seeing it as their burden to improve the savages with Euro civilzation etc.

This is irrelevant to what I said about Israel being the center of Jewishness.

It is where the first and second temples were. It is where we pray for a messiah will come and build a 3rd temple. Do you disregard the history that jews have on that land or is that pure fiction to you as well?

We pray towards Jerusalem multiple times a day.

Israel is a Jewish State with other religious minorities. Those minorities have options not to serve in the military of they do not choose to do so. Of course there will be protectionist policies that help maintain a jewish majority. It will never be like America where there is a separation of "church" and state built into a constitution.

We can find embarrassing writings from all "founding fathers" of all nations. Nobody is perfect. Jews were being discriminated against, moreso than majority religions, long before the Holocaust.

Heaven forbid there be a Jewish state the size of Rhode Island. We ask for so much compared to other religious states.

Then why is the small Israel such an eyesore to you. What about much larger countries, e.g. muslim countries, where you see much more extreme versions of this.

Your tax dollars entitle you to this opinion. Please remember that you are talking about the religious center of numerous religions and the birthplace of many as well. Asking for a secular government is probably too much considering the average person that lives in that region.

It is truly a marvel to travel to Israel and see all the different religious sites.

I feel that the size is actually a big part of the problem. With limited resources and land, it will be very difficult, but not impossible, to reach a 2 state solution. I just wish both sides would get off their high horses and not set unrealistic demands (palestinians wanting pre-1967 borders or nothing AND Israel wanting to keep settlements that litter the West Bank).

The Palestinians deserve a chance. Israel has been made out to be the boogey man here. Let us not forget how all the arab neighbors have treated the Palestinians in the past:

Israel is not a random place for jews, as to my understanding.

    As far as reparations go:

    Probably far from enough, but...

Oh yes, Lebanese girls are among the hottest! I have met a few...makes me want to go to Beirut, actually. Beirut must be a total party town, which is crazy...even during the bad times, it apparently is.

P.S.: To get this back into D&D mode, is it safe to say that those hot Lebanese girls you posted do not come from traditionalist muslim families?

Not necessarily. I think it's a safe assumption for the bottom picture, but not the top two.

The level of denial is insane.

I won't bother discussing, I just want to sum up your post:

    - Israel does not have control over Gaza or Egypt.
    - Israel's ability to bomb tunnels is the same as the US' ability to bomb tunnels from Mexico (one of the largest borders on earth IIRC).
    - Not surprisingly, Gazan locals are murderers.
    - Gazans elected Hamas, nothing to say about bias or other options. Nevermind that Hamas have all the weapons and are the only hope of self-defense.

I just have one question. It seems to me you view the leaders and people as terrorists/murderers, you believe they willingly elect such leaders in order to incite the terror, and you think they are out of control evading Israel by building tunnels. I'll also add that much of the drugs in Israel come from Gaza.

If all of what you're saying is true, these animals need to be thrown in prison, some of them even executed. What do you propose as a solution?

Mathloom, you sound confused. Have you had a few alcoholic drinks?
