So why did Israel even bother to sign those peace treaties in the first place?

Other than paranoia there is no evidence that Jordan, Egypt or Turkey are going to attack Israel.

History says they have and you learn from history. You learn governments don't respect peace treaties.

Hezbollah has been funded and supported by Iran and Syria for ages.

So it's okay because they don't launch rockets and bombs "as Syria", but just do it "through Hezbollah"? And that means they are not a threat to Israel?
