Hamas in terms of agency is like a child compared to the IDF modern military backed by international support.

How Hamas got into power is irrelevant from the fact that people are making arguments justifying a disprootate repsonse because Palestine as a people voted for Hamas.

If my goal is to detach the concept of Palestine people and empathizing with them with the organization that is Hamas then you should probably through reasoning skills figure out my opinion of Hamas itself as a organization.

People also have to understand Hamas over the past decade have expanded beyond their terrorism and insurgency in terms providing clinics, food aid, garbage collection etc where these basic services are interacting with Palestinians on a daily basis. And they see a retaliatory response of Isreal killing 10x amount of Israelis and see Hamas as the only group with "will power" to not hold back.

It's very easy for a Palestinian to side with Hamas based on the ground conditions and how closed off they are too outside information also.

Of course you don’t know Middle East politics. Fascinating how you discover that you aren’t well versed in those subjects with which you are eager to give an opinion.

Yes, the Palestinians could renounce terrorism and disarm and there would never need to be another person killed on either side.

    good read here

Obama/Biden want to empower Iran, and that has coincided with Hamas attacks on Israel

First, let’s look at the last major Gaza war, in 2021, which started, not coincidentally, shortly after Joe Biden took office:

As with the conflagration before that, in 2014, the strategic backdrop for the war was simple: the foreign policy pivot, initiated by Barack Obama and revived by Biden, to create a “realignment” in the Middle East by partnering with Iran. Four days before the rocket fire started, Iran’s supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, gave a triumphalist speech, declaring that “the balance of power has swung.” The Iranian framing of a new “balance of power” fits seamlessly with the U.S. administration’s declared priorities.

As part of its regional realignment doctrine, the Biden administration has moved away from the Abraham Accords as fast as it can. As all the actors involved understood, the Abraham Accords represented the framework for a U.S.-led camp of regional allies to cooperate in the face of common challenges, specifically those posed by Iran. This security architecture is what Team Obama-Biden’s realignment doctrine fundamentally rejects. The point of realignment is to create the opposite regional order of that imagined by the Abraham Accords.

Rather than create an order that clearly distinguishes between our Israeli and Arab allies on the one side and our enemies led by Iran on the other, this vision moved to erase that line and to back Iran against our former allies, forcing them to accommodate Iran and to prop up its regional assets. That, Team Biden argued, is how you achieve a “more integrated region,” which is a “less pressurized” and therefore a “more stable and secure” region, as a July 2022 op-ed under Joe Biden’s name explained it.

You do know Russia and Iran are literally close friends. You folks bootlick Russia all day and then claim you want Iran to be weakened. Who the hell do you think Iran gets their weapons from?

Lol.. that’s literally 3/4 of everyone in the D&D. Especially the ones who rely on twitter for their base of argument/fact. It’s one thing to post tweets of news or what is believed to be news. It’s another to post tweets containing false information and then argue it’s real.

There’s one poster in particular that can’t seem to understand the difference between opposing opinions as just about every post of theirs calls the opposing opinion a maga or trumpee supporter.

Which right wingers on these boards is able to think for themselves? Please do inform us. All the right wingers were quick to jump on the braindead "this is all bidens fault cuz he gave Iran 6 billion" when in reality not a single dollar has been distributed.

Which right wingers think for themselves?

    What a coincidence lol.

BTW- there’s millions and millions and millions of right leaning people (and left leaning) that don’t like a lot of stuff the parties they identify with do. You are either extremely narrow minded, brainwashed, clumsily ignorant or all of the above to think a majority of right leaning posters on Clutchfans are all trumpee or maga groupies. Yet, you use that reference in almost every post you make.
