For those of you ignorant scum like cool_chick, Israel is the only country in the world to hold its army to strict standards. Any soldier that purposely targets civilians is held accountable and dealt with accordingly. While there may be isolated incidents where young Arabic children in the West Bank are killed, the vast majority of civilians killed are used by the Palestinians as "human shields" whilst the Israelies attempt to clean out the scum/rat-infested terroristic homes of those planning the next suicide bombing which will kill dozens of innocent civilians. Israel will win the war on terror just as the USA will and, until the arabs ever elect a normal leader (unlike Arafat the terrorist who has killed thousands of Israelies and his own people), the Palestinians will not have their exclusive state. As long as Hamas/Jihad/Fatah exist and call for the destruction of the Jewish people, there will never be peace and the world's strongest army (next to the USA) will protect Israel and its people while erasing all terrorists and those who breed terror like Cool_chick (ban that scum ball off this messageboard).
Obviously you didn't read the threads where the IDF had a policy of forcing Palestinian civilians at gun point to go into dangersous situations such as houses where militants are hiding out or that might be booby trapped. In fact the courts eventually ordered them to stop the practice. But within the last year the Israeli military had a policy for using Palestinian CIVLIANS as human shields. So before you start calling others ignorant, you might want to do some research yourself. You might also want to read the post about civility.
Israel executes its strategies better than any other country in the world and uses utmost care in sparing civilian life. The USA even was trained by Israel before going into Iraq for those of you that dont know Israeli soldiers are at war in Gaza and they have the right to send family of militants into their homes. Some policies are a direct result of war and Israel has had to face these scum terrorists for the last 50 years. Just know that the USA has killed thousands of civilians in Afghanistan and Iraq - a direct result of war. Whether you like it or not, palestinian life will be lost while israel cleans the scum, rat-infested homes of the terrorists. The media and ignorant people like you are quick to criticize Israel, but if your country was attacked with terrorists, I know you would approve of every measure to rid the scum.
First of all Israel doesn't have a just right to send family members of militants into homes that would put their lives in jeopardy. But I wasn't even referring to militant's families. These were bystanders. After the killing of a civilian underage boy that Israeli soldiers forced at gunpoint into a dangerous situation, and several other incidents the policy was at first denied and then finally stopped.
and if your mom or dad was killed by a tank eventhough you have no connections to or with terrorists, you would damn well be pissed off enough to go kill some people
He is being pretty civil to everyone on this board(except for cool_chick who does deserve some criticism for her extremist positions). I am for banning her... her views are waaaaay off the deep end, to the point that its offensive to many readers... just as JayZ put it in earlier posts. I applaud marky for telling it like it is. He makes good points about the restraint of the IDF which many anti-Israel posters neglect to acknowledge.

i dont understand what it is with you and the sea, no one wants to exterminate the israelis, they just want to be a part of the whole...they want a place of their own(kinda like what the jews were like after the holocost)
I beg to differ.. Hamas and Islamic Jihad want Israel destroyed... they want all israelis exterminated. The original PA charter called for the destruction of Israel.

Amidst all the other "stuff" you habitually spew in here, I'd like to hear how a person who knowingly sacrifices their own life for what they believe in, which most of us wouldn't have the guts to do, can in any respect be called cowardly, whatever you feel about the valididty of their convictions. Their choice of targets argues against the nobility of their actions, and many other things...but their courage? Unquestionable, IMO.
o yea and israel is in favor of PEACE. i didnt want to get started, but BUILDING settlements doesnt help in going back to old boundries, and then attacking more palestinian settlements
If they were truly courageous, Macbeth, they'd fight against those who could defend THEMSELVES. Not against the defenseless. How courageous is that, blowing up people unable to defend themselves? They are cowardly, dishonorable scum. I'm sick of this moral equivalence being applied to these people, who only want Israel destroyed and every single last Jew there killed. To say they don't want that is utterly indefensible. Obviously, if Yassir is as powerful as he's supposed to be, he could stop these attacks in an instant and eliminate the horrible, anti-Jewish propaganda being taught as fact to a future generation of homicide bombers. The fact he doesn't do a damned thing about it except provide lip service tells us much about their true intentions. If the "Palestinians" want to live in Israel in peace, let them live there. Quite often, it's young men, even teenage ones, who are manipulated by elders. Maybe even susceptible ones, such as the last one, a woman who went to law school. She was reportedly recruited at the funeral for her brother and cousin who were killed in clashes with the Israelis. Hatred, religious fervor, revenge, youth, ignorance ... yes. Courage, no.
courage, as in not bravery, more as in the opposite of cowardness. i think thats what macbeth was trying to pass along. eventhough they cant buy a gun or physically hurt an army, they will give up their lives for the fight eventhough i am totally against suicide bombings, this is what happens when people are pushed to the brink
Is it courageous to commit suicide? No. Is it courageous to walk into a nightclub? No. I don't see how combining the two somehow makes you courageous. Now, if they tried to attack a military base or a tank or something like that, then it would be considered brave. What they are doing is no more courageous than the Columbine incident.
