Can you show why you think as a whole non-asshat Muslims are more sensitive and easily outraged than everyone else?

Is there some evidence or just your observation?

No need to discuss that Muslim asshats lean more to violence as I think that's almost universally agreed.

It seems like it is very easy to get them to flock to the streets and demonstrate, even because of small things. Do I need to mention the outrage about the cartoons? What about the outrage over puppy ads? Should I cite more examples?

That's unless you believe that everyone who was outraged over all that stuff is an asshat. I would tend to agree with you then.

So really, you made an error in the previous post where you said non-asshat Muslims are easily offended?

It depends on whether you are an asshat or not.

Im from <Algeria a country that was plagued by terrorism in the 90's. I know that extremists spread around fake corans that were twisted that used a very "extreme" way to describe the religion.

You also have to know that the media love everything that link islam to terrorism! I'm almost sure that most of you don't know about places like Touba in Senegal a religious city with a rich history far from terrorism from wikipedia- Touba (Arabic Ṭūbā "Felicity") is a city in central Senegal. It is the holy city of Mouridism and the burial place of its founder, Shaikh Aamadu Bàmba Mbàkke. Next to his tomb lies a large mosque, completed in 1963.!

We also have Ghardaia a city in the algerian sahara where the inhabitants follow an old islamic belief, this city is very peaceful and didn't have any terrorism problem during the 90's - It is the traditional heart of the M'zab valley, home of the Ibadi sect in Algeria, and has preserved its original medieval architecture remarkably well; the valley of which it forms a part is an official World Heritage Site

Finally found this clip that I think might be interesting for you americans:

I do not see what would be funny about that show. They just want attention.

Are there still people who believed that the episode of south park was censored, and that it wasn't just a publicity stunt of South park. They wanted the attention. The censoring was so over the top that it was clear IMO that it was planned.

It is just sad that small groups of complete idiots give others a bad name. I know more nice friendly and humble Muslims than I know crazy aggressive Muslims. But still the general perception of Muslims is influenced heavily by these radical idiots.

I'm not that happy with Van Gogh being made a martyr. He was a complete idiot, who did nothing besides trying to upset people. Did he deserve to die.. Of course not. Does he deserve this martyrdom.. no.

At some point we have to stop feeding that habit of being entertained by conflict, because clearly, the business world has figured out that bad habits and conflicts are the best money makers (McD's, coke, tobacco, UFC, etc.)

    Recession-proof as well!! lol

As always, I think they're a bunch of douchebags if they do it, but obviously, if they do make it I don't have to watch.
