Lin's defense is so underated is r****ded. He SHUT Lillard's face in Portland. The following game, he went full r****d on Kobe (an elite defender).

I have zero idea where this average defender bs is going on. The dude is a good defender now, operative word - now.

He is not flat out better, thats just your opinion. Curry is a budding Superstar in this league while Lin is a role player with the capabilities of becoming an all-star. You didnt factor in the 22 to 13 points either..

I love it how some of you cats try and find ways to boost up your stance...You dont exactly know what Lin would be averaging with those additional minutes.

Sorrry pimpn but I disagree big time here. The problem is people always try to use the blind eye theory. Meaning trying to see **** without actually seeing. You dont know what Wall will do here in Houston or what Lin would do in Washington based on a TS%....
Looking at their talent level both players would be doing the same exact thing. Wall is predicted to being a Superstar that is why he was a #1 pick in the draft. And to be honest he would really thrive here in Houston. Lin wasnt even drafted but the cat has potential and can ball..

Both Wade and the Glove shared the responsibilities of the point..Some time Wade would run the offense and sometime Wade would....And they did a lot of ISO's for Wade as well during that title run.

you are contradicting yourself here.. you are pretty much saying Wall is great because the scouts says so, then turn around and say Lin is good even though the scouts didn't say so.

and that's pretty much you're whole argument against everybody.. that their opinion is invalid, yet you throw out your own opinion.

Ricky Rubio may be the best PG in the NBA.

If he becomes an elite shooter.

Wall's jumpshot has improved tenfold this season.

Lin went from shooting under 30% from 3PT range to over 40% almost over night.

    Anything is possible.

Surround Rubio with shooters and he'll average like 15 assists a game.

Your kidding me right? You realize that Lebron and Wade were completely redundant their first season together. Its different now since both have learned to play better off the ball. Lebron has become a great catch and shoot player and a great 3 point shooter. He has also developed a post game. Wade is a very good cutter and knows how to position himself off the ball as well.

Wade and Lebron were extremely similar players and very redundant. That has only changed recently. I mean have you even watch them play in 09? They were both great at PNR ball handling and paint penetration to drive and dish or at finishing/drawing contact as well and they did it better than Harden and Lin.

Which will never happen. Look at Rondo he still sucks at shooting after all these years in the nba. Rubio is similar to Rondo. The good thing is Rubio can draw fouls but thats it. Rondo sucks at drawing fouls and when he does he bricks fts.
Outside of free throws Rondo is a much better shooter and finisher and that is just pathetic. Rondo blows at shooting the 3 ball but shoots it anyway. His mid range jumper is ok, his %s are decent since defenders sag on him all game. Overall, Rondo is a very inefficient scorer. Same for Rubio.

The good thing is Rubio actually creates good shots for his teammates while Rondo creates inefficient mid ranged jumpers for his teammates. Hence why his team has a way better record without him(before KG went down).

Did you just compare Lebron and Wade to Lin? Lol
They are the elite of elite and have the talent to mold their games to fit each other. Even then, you can argue that they are not a perfect match, but they make it work. Lin does not have the multifacet talents that they do, he can not just adapt his game because he does not have their other wordly talent even if he wants to. Simply put, Lin is and will never be good enough of a player to be able to be a great player next to a backcourt mate who shares the same strengths as him but is much better... Especially when Lin has only a slim chance of being great when he has everything else fit perfectly for him.

Actually he did. When he was with the Knicks, Lin made everyone around him look better, which means he was doing his job. When Jeffries used to even touch the ball, you could hear everyone in the Garden groan. Once, Lin gave him assists, everyone started cheering whenever Jeffries had the ball. Last year with Lin, Novak became the top 3PM% in the league. This year he is tenth in the league. Even Tyson Chandler said that Lin helped make him a much better scorer last year, and his stats proved it.
