What difference a year makes. AB needs to know that his kind of attitude is not welcome here, no matter what he did previously. Shame, too, because I always felt he would be good in the "Jason Terry" role.

Funny, I didn't see that part of the article.

And I'm pretty damn sure that Nelson Luis would be fired if he divulged anything approaching that much information.

That's exactly what I was thinking yesterday. It's not worth giving up Ish for some D-leaguer or some mid-season FA centers. Non of those are better than what we already have.

If we are to find a center, we are supposed to make a significant upgrade from what we have now.

Yes, he has a frustrated attitude. When things aren't going his way he tends to fold and lower his head.

It was like this even when his ankle was healthy

Ethier we trade Ish for a pick or we trade Brooks for a player.

...Jeffries is critical in any deal involving a max contract type player in making salaries match. It would be beyond stupid to buy him out if there was even the slimmest chance we could pull a trade on a big name player. Unless someone really useful now and in the future was all of a sudden available on the waiver wire(highly unlikely), you don't "need" to waive Jeffries.

    THIS.

Jared Jeffries will not be waived by the Rockets prior to February 24, 2011 unless a spectacular trade comes down involving the Rockets getting more players than they are sending out and Jeffries isn't part of the deal.

    Bank on it!

(Even then, Morey may choose to hold onto him in case a second spectacular deal can be put together!)

When I first saw the news I thought the same thing as many of you - setting up a backup in case of a trade scenario where one of our primary PGs is involved.

We keep Ish and trade Brooks to the Suns for Lopez in a 3 team trade with the knicks being the third team........Book it......Nash is going to New York.

Would be nice if we can get Ellis for Martin too......Fillers for both trades ofcourse....anyways Ish welcome!

    Ellis-Upcoming Super Star
    Battier
    Scola
    Lopez-Center for the future

I agree, i dont like him too much as a player. He jus dribbles down 20 seconds of the shot clock and forces a crap shot. HE doesn't seem to be playing at his MIP form this season either. And i think he's pissed with the fron toffice. In all honesty, out of the 3 PGs we have, i think brooks will be shipped. :(
