LOL, if the 76ers management deems that Canaan isn't worthy of starting ahead of Ish Smith on a loosing team with nothing at stake, how does it make sense to criticize McHale for not playing him in the middle of a critical race in the West?

Canaan wasn't ready here; he still isn't ready; he may or may not ever be ready. The Rockets wisely decided they could not afford the risk of him loosing any games to get him ready. They clearly made the right decision.

Now Ish officially starting ahead of Canaan in the 76ers, this chapter now can be closed like Troy.

McHale sux. We had Ish Smith and we got rid of him! Now he's leading Philly to the Promised Land! :(

You better be REALLY good at the pull up 3 as your primary shot if you are going to survive in the NBA.

Canaan looked really good as a floor spacing PG playing next to Harden as he forced the ball out of Canaan's hands, and made him a shooter, but as a primary ball-handler we are seeing that Canaan really doesn't have a full developed PG game like we hoped he had.

The guy still has a place in this league even if he doesn't develop further, but it probably won't be on the Sixers who were looking for a little more from him. He probably makes the most sense on a team like the Rockets believe it or not. He was a good fit next to Harden.

Shame whatever happened happened, and its now water under the bridge. Hope he lands on a good role again in the NBA if Philly gives up on him, or that he improves with Philly this Summer.

I wish him well also...but not those McHale haters who blamed him for Canaan's poor development. I said earlier...Canaan wasn't ready, still isn't ready, and may never be NBA ready. He certainly did not warrant taking risk on home court advantage in the playoffs to play him...that would have been stupid coaching.

He and Covington both fell off. Covington and I had a nice run in fantasy... oh, well.

So these charts are just proving Ish is a guy who can drive and dish better than Canaan and also have a better court vision than him?

    Poor Canaan.
