It was a funny episode, not the greatest, but enjoyable for the most part. However, i think its stupid for paramount to ask a show on COMEDY central to not make fun of scientologists. That's like telling Animal Planet that they are prohibited from showing cute animals.
My favorite part was when they alluded to their own demise, "Cool people don't stay past their welcome," or whatever...
it was pretty hilarious. I also thought they would shoot down scientology, but had to run around it somehow. The ending was classic and his death was pretty gory.
I'm not so sure they danced around it because they were forced to. I think the way they presented it was more because they were attempting to show that Scientology is perhaps more sinister than their outward appearance would indicate. If they did in fact quit South Park "for" Isaac Hayes after he was debilitated from the stroke, then I would tend to agree with that. Either way, it was a hilarious episode. I need to start watching South Park again.
Hilarious, touching, pointed episode. Chef getting his face ripped off was too much for me, though. Much more upsetting then the woodland creatures or Paris Hilton's dog shooting itself. Didn't like that one bit. It was just needless filler, but par for the course when you have to come up with a fresh 22 minutes after something big like Hayes "quitting."
atleast this clip looks funny - http://www.southparkstudios.com/dow.../1002_teaser.mov&vid_name=Episode 1002 Teaser
