DeAngelo Russell: Talking after the game, Russell was not happy with the treatment Zion gets from the referees. "He just ran through my guy, took the ball, he's playing football, we're playing basketball, we can't touch him or guard him, so good for him," the Timberwolves guard talked about the episode I have not been watching but would you say this is ture? I was listening to another commentator of another team complain about how Zion (and Giannis) are basically allow to bowl people over and when get the AND 1 or at least a foul called on the other person which no one else can do on the other end I cannot say I watched enough Zion to say but . . . where there is smoke . . . . Rocket River
Only *IF* it is equal for everyone. I thought YAO got some sh!tty offensive foul calls that Shaq didn't get Otherwise Yao would have been unstoppable (not to mention all the hacks and muggings he suffered ) I just ask the game be called the same for everyone I HATE Superstar calls Rocket River
Oh yeah I think it is because international players didn't get the foul calls but now that you have Dirk, Giannis, Wemby and Luka, it's going to be different. Yao was the pioneer, an unlucky one but people all over the world rooted for him as consolation.
Adrian Wojnarowski on NBA Today: "I think the expectation is Zion Williamson will be out at least a month plus. This is not a mild strain [to his hamstring]."
He is injured all the time and he is super young what happens after years of wear and tear kick in on that body.
This was just matter of time, he is injury prone. Lucky it wasn't a torn hamstring, as explosive as he is.
Truly, he is a beast when healthy but even muscle pulls are taking him weeks to recover. Not certain he can handle the grind as he gets older, just like Yao.
Pelicans have lost 7 straight and 10 of their last 12 with Milwaukee, Denver, and Dallas up next on their schedule yikes
