He was guaranteed a ton more i believe, I think only Lebron was guaranteed more day 1 ~$90M w endorsements than Zion who had ~$75M guaranteed w Nike/NBA.

Barkley said he legitimately could become a billionaire if he just got it together. With the amount of the new max contracts, if you have a full career that is ~$500M+ in career earnings plus Nike alone would be $200M every 10 years.

Imagine trading all that young talent and picks for a guy that can’t get off the couch. That would be a disaster for the Rockets.

All what young talent, say you trade Green and Tate and a FRP - that isn't too much.

    Tate is easily replaceable.

Green is years away and you have 2 players that are like player in KPJ and Christopher

a FRP - can be protected.

Yet, you are potentially getting a top 5 player in the league......that is worth it.

Always take a YOUNG PROVEN over a YOUNG potential.

Well I was referring to the tweet. Who knows how many players and how much picks would have to be involved.

Are there any recent pictures of Zion? I heard he has blown up like a balloon and is somewhere between 350 and 400lbs.

I wouldn’t trade Green for Zion straight up. Green hasn’t proven anything up to this point. But, Zion has proven to be injury prone. He’s already had two foot injuries, a knee injury, and a thumb injury.

I’m afraid Zion at his size and the way he plays will result in a very short career.

Always take the young potential talent that is healthy and loves basketball over the young proven talent that is fat, injured and doesn’t like basketball.

And the injury is a terrible one for a guy like Zion -- it will keep him out a full season and instead of working hard and dropping weight like he did after the meniscus tear he shows up ballooned to 300+ pounds. I wouldn't be surprised if this broken foot and his poor work ethic ruin his career -- Yao worked hard and couldn't ever get right after the foot injuries -- who even knows what Zion is doing right now.

Exactly, and I do not fully blame him. But would not trade for him.

I would give up one of the Nets picks and maybe EGo for Zion.

A slight gamble. Foot injuries can be career killer. Everybody remembers Yao, but not eerbody remembers Moses broke his foot and cameback better than ever. Doubtful Zion has Moses work ethic, but it's worth a small gamble.

Chet/Sengun/Zion, that's a front line that can score and defend.

    This will never happen.
