Was at the game last night and KJM really played the “glue guy” well. He may not have a handle but he actually runs plays (unlike our guards) and has a good feel of when to shoot and when to dish. As everyone knows already, he also cuts and moved without the ball extremely well, and I think the defense is starting to come around. I’m not sure what his long term prospects are, but on this particular team, he does have a subtle settling effect. He doesn’t force anything and keeps the ball moving. This is one of the reasons our 2nd unit has seemed to work better than the first. I can’t remember how much longer he’s under contract but I see him having more value to this team than anything we’d likely get in a trade.
Like I said last season, I believe he should start/or get 20-25 min a game. He has deficiencies but he also plays the game hard. One of the only willing cutters on the team. KJ and Tari should have the lions share of min at the 3 and back up 4 imo
he is who we thought he is. an undersized 4 who is best utilized as an energy guy off the bench. the KJM "truthers" looking silly these days.
