I think the first round exits Wade has been getting since the Championship run is why some people don't want to put him up there.

Not like his supporting cast was good though.

QUOTE=clippy;6165778]Almost all passionate LeBron haters are Kobe fanbois, because they are so worried that LeBron will start to rack up accolades (since his stats are already way better than Kobe's). These guys don't realize that in ten years no one will give a **** about Kobe no matter what LeBron does-- he's just a filler player between MJ and the next great thing (be it LeBron or someone else). Now if Kobe had actually exceeded MJ in anything then maybe he would have some sort of legacy worth remembering, but the way it is he's just going to be in those "who's the 2nd best SG of all-time debates". Whoopdie ****ing doo.[/QUOTE]

Not like Wade did much without Shaq.

Look at what Iverson and Miller did. Those two carried their teams and just came up short because of lack of help and never having that definite #2 guy to help them out.

In crunch time, Kobe has always been money.

While Wade has had made some big shots in his career (not discounting that), I do not think he was as automatic as Kobe. Plus now that Wade has teamed up with LBJ, it will be much more difficult for him to prove that he is on that level since people would be arguing who the man is (with most leaning towards LBJ).

Furthermore, Kobe has taken absolute garbage teams to postseasons where they have fought (only people who actually watched the Lakers during the mid-2000s can understand that). When you have are leading teams which are starting D-Leaguers like Kwame Brown, Luke Walton, Smush Parker and taking powerhouse franchises like the Suns to 7 games, what can you say? What was Miami's record during Riley's final season?

You may hate Kobe but he just has it.

I have no idea why I am even arguing this. I don't think anybody said that Wade was better than Kobe lol.

I knew someone would bring up Shaq.

Shaq was a liablity in the NBA finals. He shot 37 % from the FT line in the 05-06 playoffs. His PER was basically 30 when he won rings with the Lakers. Barely 20 with the Heat in 05-06.

Kobe's crunchtime stats are pretty bad because he forces a lot of bad shots in a futile attempt to be Jordan.

Wade basically won his ring by himself. Kobe never did that.

Never been a Kobe fan. Maybe it is because all the HYPE he got.

Do I think he deserves 5 championships? Probably not.

I'm just not enamored by Kobe Bryant.

What do you expect him to do on teams which are starting scrubs like Kwame Brown, Smush Parker and Luke Walton? (thats right, they were starters). Seeing scrubs like Tierre Brown and old as hell Chucky Atkins get playing time? If you thought LBJ/Wade had bad supporting casts....

If you watched the Lakers during those years (on a regular basis), you would agree that they had zero business being in the postseason. Instead, they are taking the Suns to 7 games.

Any team that had shaq had a BIG advantage. Most dominant player of the last decade, by far.

Why doesn't he deserve the rings? He was a key player for those championship teams. While he wasn't the best player on his first 3 championship teams, you can't deny that he was a key player. He made big shots, he played great D (during the early years).

You take Kobe out of the Lakers, do they win any of those 5 championships? I am going to guess, probably not.

I really don't understand why you feel that he does not deserve his rings.

How does he not deserve 5 championships? He played a big role in all 5 titles.

You mean Shaq who has always been terrible at the FT line was terrible at the FT line for the Heat? It's never been good and has always been a liability.

The Lakers Dynasty with Shaq and Kobe was possible because Kobe closed a lot of those games. Also that's BS that Wade won the title by himself, Shaq was shooting over 60%, grabbing nearly 10 rebounds. He was still the best Center in the league at that time.

You think Shaq could have won without Kobe? Because I seriously doubt that.
