I've always had Wade at #2 or #3 behind LeBron and maybe Howard. The MVP vote was correct (although Dirk should have been 2nd given his supporting cast), but that is a team-dependent award. Wade put up better stats than Rose pretty much across the board.

Wade is right up there. Definetly jordan and kobe are 1 and 2. After that I would probaly put wade.

Id take wade over iverson, manu, and ray allen any day of the week. Hard to comment on Jerry West, I've never seen him play but I have a feeling if a prime West were to go against a prime Wade, Wade would crush him. I doubt West would have any chance to guard Wade, Im sure Wade could stop West atleast some of the time.

Clyde was great as well, hes the only guy I think you could argue that might be ahead of Wade as the best SG other than Kobe and Jordan.

    Michael Jordan
    George Gervin
    Tracy McGrady
    Dwayne Wade
    Clyde Drexler
    Julius Erving
    Kobe Bryant
    Dwayne Wade

Some of these guys I never had a chance to see play so I can't really rank them but from what I've heard and seen in highlights these guys and anyone else I forgot should be in the discussion.

Notice how the league changed once guys like Erving and Gervin came into the league (NBA). These guys were the first "modern day" perimeter guard/forwards from what I can gather, and were pretty damn good and now forgotten by most people. Hell, George Gervin used to finger roll the ball into the basket from the FT line; you just don't see that now-a-days.

Fixed the list for you to just include 50 greatest players of all time or MVPs or champions.

Yeah, Dr J and Gervin were really small forwards, though. They were both 6'7. They continued the invention that Baylor make a part of his game in the 60s.

    1. MJ
    2. Big O
    3. kobe
    4. west
    5a. gervin
    5b. clyde

Wade is somewhere with iverson, monroe, pistol, havlicek. hard for him to move up the list without an MVP award. if he climbs the career stats list and adds some championships i can see him finishing as high as #5.

Oscar was a PG, Gervin was an SF, and Kobe is ranked too high.

again, you are freaking r****ded if you discount Jerry West b/c u didn't see him. Did you see Wilt play? Russell?

do kids 20 years from now discount MJ because they didn't see him?

Clippy thinks Magic is over MJ, when Magic has clearly stated several times that MJ is the best ever
