this guy's quote from well before the tournament is now looking pretty sweet.

 

I guess my prediction is that the Rockets will win the championship this season, if they don't then it's because theyr'e not the best team, it may change over the course of the season, infact I predict they will not make it past the second round.

They don't have a true center, they don't match up with all the bigs on the international level that can shoot off the high pick and roll.

The USA has a long way to go.

You're a young, fairly inexperienced team on International level with lots of talent.Give it time and stick with they way you're doing things now, you're on the right track.

Teams are not built in one summer. Not ours, not argentina's, not the old Serbian one. As you eliminate what you're doing wrong and focus on what you're doing right, you'll improve and will have better chances for titles.

Dream Team was only once. Even if you could convince Top NBA players to play for their nation, there are ways to beat those(More difficult of course). The originals were from another planet.

And remember that in one game situations anyone can win. Playing 10 games, you'd prolly win at least 7. But that's the beauty of the WCOB, anyone good enough can win. That's the thrill.
