The backup plan should be Lance Stephenson. Much better value than either Dragic or Lawson. Charlotte is practically giving the guy away. And BR is younger than both.

If you think Beverley can't shoot...

Only thing about Lawson though is he's going to have to find a way to give much more effort on the defensive end if he comes here. His effort on that end this year has been ugghh. He's already vertically challenged enough as it is. Going through the gauntlet in the West of PG's you need a little better than that.

If they do get Lawson its probably important to keep Beverley and have him come in the game to pester.

Forget Dragic, Rocket should go after Reggie Jackson.

This is a pipe dream. The Nuggets won't just give him away; he's an elite talent and probably in their rebuilding plan.

Lawson didn't travel with the team to Miluake for Fridays game against the bucks due to "travel rights"

Or does he know he won't be a nugget on Friday

Thousands of crazy posts in the cybersex thread will be forgotten if Lawson becomes a Rocket by tomorrow. Other than his personal issues, this guy is as good as Dragic. Better all around pg if numbers of assists is your metric with worse d than "superstar" Dragic.

Lakers are delusional. What assets will they give to get Lawson. A very very late pick and an injured rookie with bad defence who plays the same position as Faried? LOL

Lakers are quickly becoming who the Rockets were not too long ago, mentioned as players in every trade scenario LOL

    Does anyone believe them though?

What is wrong with the Lakers? I thought they were committed to rebuilding?

Their owner's insecurity is a plague on the team honestly. Kobe Bryant is finished, let him whine about his final year or two as much as he wants. They are not going to put together enough core players + championship caliber role players + find a decent coach + find chemistry in time for Bryant to be happy.

AND WHY ON EARTH DOES DRAGIC WANT TO BE A LAKER?????????

Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge questions marks around Dragic's motivation.

The Lakers can take on McGee's contract yet improve their team as a result.

    Nash's corpse + Hill's expiring/team option = Lawson + McGee

    2015-16
    Lawson, Clarkson
    Kobe
    ?, Young
    Randle, Davis, Kelly
    McGee, Black, Sacre

    (yes it's Bleacher Report)
This article made me feel more optimistic and pessimistic about Ty Lawson.
Seems like he is definitely available for the right price, but I wasn't aware of the age / behavior concerns.
    http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...all-the-cards-heading-into-trade-deadline-day

Overall I'm hoping we get him for a lowball offer.
